Yes indeed, but the problem with the vocal minority is that they are very vocal. FD should had completely stuck to their guns and stop pandering to these people who want everything to be black and white so they can instantly have all the best equipment and then moan that they're bored in a couple of weeks. Same old      as what happens in every other MMO.

RNG or Insta best of everything are not the only options. I don't think anyone who doesn't like the RNG mechanic wanted to just press a button or spent credits and get everything right away. I know I certainly don't.

What I would like is:
1. A fun and engaging way of getting upgrades. with the RNG it feels like it has nothing to do with my skill, knowledge of the game or indeed that I'm playing it at all
2. Another way of getting the modification I'm looking for other than rely on RNG mechanics.

Instant gratification doesn't come into it, neither do I think I'm asking for the moon in wanting the 2 things above. Personally I think they are entirely reasonable.

I'll miss the livestream but I will be watching afterwards to see how it's changing, so we'll just have to see.

Confirmed.. can land now no real issues. I still think its not quite right though, on occasion seems a tad     ly but im just being a perfectionist I suppose

Rather than have to grind at finding resources there should simply be a small limit on how many mods can be made to any ship. Fair to all players - casual and grinders.

Better to implant a material market and review the engineer as explained here.

Agreed. If it looked like a machine an Engineer would use to create/tune a module with dials/LED's/buttons etc, it might help. But Im repeating myself....

Better to implant a material market and review the engineer as explained here.

The idea of individual ranks with each engineer is much more interesting - your behaviours should vary what you have access to so it doesn't just become a grind-race to the top before people can compete.
