And still no fix npc's powerplant. That critical bug, that disables part of the game, just not fixed for 6 month! Great!
Frontier is now dead, as developers, for me. Go make more dinosaurs...

I am trying to unlock Lei Cheung, I've sold goods at numerous stations but my "market" count isn't going up. A new bug that has been introduced?

This release is, for sure, the most bugged IN EVER.

How the FSD booster can be still bugged after all this time to fix it, is beyond my comprehension. Maybe will be better to return to the "open beta" method next time.

They couldn't even squish most of the existing bugs. Massacre mission targets, npc powerplants and skimmers not showing any faction or bounty information are all still in the game. What a debacle.

Sigh. Sadly no genuine improvements to missions in this update 😔. I'd hoped they would have given players the ability to do non-wing trade missions in stages, as they do with wing missions. I'd hoped they would have added more variety to mission chains & wrinkles. Oh, & still no Favour System.

Seems like it will be back to Battletech for me......at least for the next few months.
Yeah. I'm spending the summer on the beach or racing virtual racing cars. Can't see any point in staring at the same old loading screens and visiting planets where there is nothing to do.

If this is what FD meant by 'fleshing out' the existing game, they have failed miserably.

Flesh out come in Chapter 1 and Chapter 4. 2 and 3 are small content updates.
Keyword: Small.

It never really worked. Current solution: Open Beta replaced by Perma Beta.

It's not a 'small' content update if there's barely any content at all. Ships and weapons aren't really content, they're tools you tackle it with. So what does that leave us? There are planets with some audio logs, so maybe a couple hours of stuff there (no indication of where they might be so most people won't even experience it). Installation interaction (which crashes some people's games) where you fly up to a point and hold down a button, then fly to another bit, hold down a button and get some data. Not a lot there either. I didn't expect much, but more than this definitely.

Meanwhile, long standing, well documented bugs are still in the game along with a slew of new ones. I'd argue that this update actually made the game worse overall.

Ships and weapons, and new mission(s) IS content; whether you like it or not is something else entirely.
Given the amount of work they are preparing to release in Q4, it's rather unrealistic to expect significant updates throughout the year as well.

Regardless of whether there's (minimal) new stuff in the game this is a terrible update that has broken more than it fixed. The stuff that they added is broken as well, installations have been removed and guardian FSD boosters *still* don't work. Can you not see why people are dissatisfied?

Haha, i just looked into the Bug Report forum, they made the old one read only although they fixed almost nothing of it and the new one is already exploding.
No beta is a real good idea lol lol lol. Why do they never learn? WHY WHY WHY? This game is broken as hell

Haha FSD boosters again not working.

Stop adding new bugged stuff, get your existing bugs fixed

1. Players can now hand themselves in to security contacts, if they have outstanding bounties, and a zero notoriety rating. Players that hand themselves in will pay off the bounty and be deported to the nearest detention center
2. Relaxed the friendly fire thresholds against NPC ships, to lower the amount of erroneous crimes being handed out

1. How much is outstanding bounty?? Still 400cr? <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
2. Something doesn't work. My wingman probably scraped FedNavy shields... got me bounty ^ Nearly lost my ship... oh and my friend lost his cobra thanks to SCRAPING shields.

I don't know what happened with this whole "NPCs more forgiving of accidental fire" tweak, but it definitely didn't make them more forgiving. I used to never get bounties in RES, now I've gotten 3 in one day. Not sure how either, been meticulously careful not to hit any non-targets.

thank you for fixing the crash to desktop when opening galaxy map, it was really annoying.

Greetings Commanders,

The galaxy servers will be taken down tomorrow (28/06) at 8:00 AM (BST) to deploy update 3.1 Elite Dangerous: Beyond - Chapter Two.

The downtime is expected to last for approximately 9 hours. There is a chance that this could run over, so we really appreciate your patience. As usual with these updates we'll keep you as up to date as possible.
