perhaps the top one could be the basic one, then theadvanced one be like this

it would be cool if we could hear other peoples disco scanners. if they did your suggestion we could get some sort of close encounters of 3rd kind going on.

it would also have a practical purpose for when entering and leaving stations with a big ship.

i guess it would have to be an option to disable tho however for those who may not want to be blasted with trumpets at every station with lots of cmdrs.
