So do LEP backers also lose their minds when a game they brought at launch for full price is sold for cheap in a sale or given for free on the Epic store?
Not all, just one or two. Quite a few LEPers already replied to the thread without acting like they've been abused somehow. So do LEP backers also lose their minds when a game they brought at launch for full price is sold for cheap in a sale or given for free on the Epic store?

Actually yes, a few of them do.So do LEP backers also lose their minds when a game they brought at launch for full price is sold for cheap in a sale or given for free on the Epic store?
I've always only had to exit the game and restart to get my SRV unstuck. Then again, one could take the time to actually learn how to handle the SRV and avoid sticky situations.
Can you ask FD to transfer it from the old account?
Here's why us LEP owners are upset, and I'm surprised it even needs explaining.
This is what we thought we were paying £120 for: "For a limited time only, players will be able to purchase a Lifetime Expansion Pass granting access to all current and future Seasons of Elite: Dangerous."
This is what we've actually paid £120 for without being informed: For a limited time only, players will be able to purchase a Lifetime Expansion Pass granting EARLY access to all current and future Seasons of Elite: Dangerous which everyone will eventually get for free, plus some paintjobs.
Your consideration is noted, despite it being off-topic.Or maybe its time for an upgrade? ED isn't very demanding, neither is Horizons. FDev shouldn't hold back bc people are failing to meet the minimum specs bc of older machines. This isn't an FDev issues, this is a you issue

It looks like those people who paid £120 for access to ALL seasons would still have gained access to all seasons without spending £120. The simple fact is, had Frontier advertised the Lifetime Expansion Pass as it's turning out to be (Pass holders gain access to All expansions, but each expansion will become free to all before the following one is released), our complaints would have no basis. It was false advertisement (even if they didn't know at the time that they would decide this in the future). If everyone is getting access to all expansions regardless of having bought a LEP, then what the LEP actually is, is: a subscription to some paintjobs at random intervals.
There is a saying: "It's the little things that count", which seems to have got completely lost over time...
I think that all those who never considered ED as a 'product' in the first place are the winners now, the happy chaps.![]()
Everything devalues over time. We paid a premium to support the game and get early access. That's all. We got a nice fat little Cobra variant for it, some early bling, and the LEP. Enjoy that, and enjoy your free future expansions.
