You literally don't own Horizons.Yes and if this happens Its going to feel like Frontier is spitting on my LEP. I already feel tiny droplets of it (hope at least covid-19 free lol)

Your LEP got you Day-1 access before it was even announced. That's it.
There was no promise that it (Horizons in this case) would not see a change in sales/distribution method later on.

You missed out the 4 years of play, which surely must be worth something? I paid full price for it which is likely to be more expensive in the long run that you paid for and I have no issues with it going free, just as I have no issues with it going on sale before hand. I have had 4 years of play which has been easily worth it in my view and I will always will have those 4 years of extra play that the people that get it for free wont have, as when they have 4 years, I would have had 8 years..I have no problem with that. I've seen Horizons for sale on Steam for as low as £4. It was inevitable that it would become part of the base game before Odyssey released just for simplicities sake. I didn't think that it would happen as soon as it did though.
I hope the Cobra Mk IV will be included in the deal, if so, it could be rebalanced into a better ship and nobody could have a problem with that.

Only those of us who've played since 1984/5 and are into the lore. The Cobra IV was a discontinued ship due to design flaws.

The Cobra Mk1 turned up in FE2 but the Mk4 is an ED ship.
Yes I remember well that in FE2 there was the Cobra 1 and 3.
And on the Wiki site they clearly indicate that the Cobra 2 was never marketed.

How many game hours have you had for your £120? If you haven't had 'value' for your 'investment' (love the 'sour grapes' as others were able to get a £35 LEP too) that is unfortunate, but is all a matter of perspective, I'd guess.
In being a backer / LEP purchaser you were gambling on getting perceived 'value' for your money - and ensuring that any future paid content would be free on the day of release... I've paid out a similar amount for my 3 ED accounts, the most recent bought earlier this year... I will have to buy Odyssey for each account, odd how I don't feel entitled to bleat about it, isn't it?
Does it make sense to continue keeping the Cobra MKIV exclusive when the expansion of which it is a part is going to be free?
