Release Elite Dangerous HUD Mod (EDHM)

The settings are in Shields&Holograms then Planetary Landing Reticle section
Set Planetary Landing Reticle Mode to custom color. Then set the colors as you want.
It's already set to XML. You're saying it needs to be Custom Color?

Yes, you must select Custom Color mode to use custom colors.

In XML mode, the elements use the theme's color matrix (XML Editor section), which is a kind of color filter.
In your screenshot, I see that you're using a primarily blue theme, which means that the theme's matrix replaces orange with blue. Since it's a color filter, this means that the matrix replaces blue with orange.

That worked, thank you. Weird thing is, I never changed that setting before. So, either is was always orange, or the app changed it.

Fellow EDHM users, I need a little help please.

I currently use the theme "blue and white" and have installed the Ody key binds plugin so I can toggle, using F3, the cabin colour:

As you can see, this makes all the stuff "under" the instruments and the internal fuselage black.

What element(s) should I change in the app then save so I don't have to keep pressing F3? I know it's minor :D

By default, the F3 key in Keybindings Mod assigns the w69 key.
The w69 key corresponds to the Overall Brightness option found in Cabin Lightning > Cockpit Lighting.

I'll ask Blue Mystic to add key search in EDHM-UI so it's easier to find options affected by 3PMods.

I like the theme "blue and white" personally. It's very easy on the eyes. I did make a small tweak to it for my own tastes but it's really great as-is.

It's back. Any ideas?

I've just released EDHM v21.03.
An update to EDHM-UI containing this new version should arrive soon.
EDIT: EDHM_UI v3.0.57 containing EDHM v21.03 is available.

- Fix for Elite Dangerous v4.2.2.0 (Dodec Update)
- Fix Fuel for Next Jump Brightness (w94)
- Analysis Mode Icons are now linked to Analysis HUD (w140 & xyzw54)
After installing the latest version of EDHM (v21.03), all available 3PMods will function correctly again, without needing to be updated.

Elite Dangerous 4.2.2.1, Dodec Update 2

FDev has just released a small patch for the game to resolve disconnection issues.
This update does NOT affect EDHM, the latest EDHM version (v21.03), EDHM is still fully functional.

---

If, after installing this game update, your game has entirely reverted to orange, it means the EDHM files have been deleted.
You must reinstall EDHM by doing the following:
  • Close the game (required)
  • Open EDHM-UI
  • Click on Main Menu, then Install EDHM

Is there a setting that will make the the target brighter or less transparent

I have trouble seeing the entry port on a Coriolis station when in supercruise. I have an oled monitor and played with the settings, that helps, but nothing really show the entry port really well.

It is possible to change the brightness of all target holograms with the Overall Brightness option (y73) in Shield & Holograms > Target Ship Hologram.
