Elite: Dangerous Legacy League

If its a alien world you want and your still exploring legacy 3.8 then may I suggest AEMONZ NU-L C22-184 2C MOON.
Its the only one of its kind in the Galaxy and I own it but I never released screen shots as I wanted people to experience it for themselves.
Shame it may disappear if 3.8 is deleted but if that gets announced I will do a complete pictorial guide of the moon before it is deleted.
It will put all other screen shots I have ever seen in Elite to shame. All the way back to my Kickstarter days!

Fly safe CMDR Q!!!!
Distance to Sol:34,787.26 ly

Any hints as to what is special? You have me intrigued. :D

Does anyone know how far is it from Colonia (can't seem to work that out from eddb, but that may be user error)?

Its a moon of extremes.
From the tallest mountains to the deepest ravines and using many colours Deep blue Ice/ Deep purple Ice and Other regions white ice and also a cratered rocky surface. Vertical Ice walls some 30 kilometers straight up with many places to land up high for the thrill of base jumping over 30 kilometers straight down. Mountain valleys with 20 to 30 kilometer high mountain either side creating spectacular views especially if the gas giant is in the sky at the end of a valley.
The ravines are very deep but not unique its the types of extreme mountains this moon possesses and the different colours that for some reason got used on this moons ice.
It is also a rocky planet not just ice so a lot of contrast as well.
I would estimate at least 20 peeks well over 25k high several over 30 k high and to many to count over 20 kilometers and one white behemoth I jumped off in my SRV and for a while I was worried that I was in orbit!
What I find strange about it is that it looks like a hand made moon and the quality of the ice looks so realistic and a black hole right next door in a region were there are no other black holes.

Damn. Couldn't you try to talk it down a little? Now I want to visit it. :D

I'll check the distance from Colonia later (as my alt account is out there). If it's too far, I might set an FC on the journey out there (the FC is currently in the bubble).

It's just over 20k LYs from Colonia, so I kitted out my AspX and headed off (decided it would be nice for an exploration mission in legacy). Unfortunately, E: D has deemed otherwise. Each of the first three jumps ended in an Orange Sidewinder. The jump had completed when I logged back in, but to say this was tedious is an understatement.

I'll try again tomorrow. Anyone else having issues when jumping to new systems in legacy?

No problems today. 31 jumps done smoothly.
Edit: I approaching here from Arcadian Stream (opposite side).

After counting the tritium stock, it looks like I'll be able to fly to the site with my FC on Saturday evening. See you soon.
Edit: Repair/Rearm/RO/UC will be available for all.
Edit2: Contact Discord, FleetComm HQ server or Elite Dangerous Community (public server), conan02. Simply send PM to me.

Nice you could make it out here.
I will be about on Saturday and will be very pleased to have company in Legacy again.
Hope the moon is in a favorable position to shine some light on the white Ice region as well.
I fly in VR only so have never been able to screen shot the moon so I am intrigued as to how it would look in full resolution.

Hey conan, Crank pointed me at this. Turns out my alts close by, I should make it by tomorrow, maybe catch you there o7

and @MadMark , I'm intrigued, looking forward to seeing the place
No hurry, I will stay here a while - at least a week. Nearby is ample tritium hotspot so I plan replenish fuel and make some local exploration. High chance to meet somebody also.

It is, this moon is well lighted and nice pointed toward star. Colors are unreal.

I will be invisible, because of unable to open port forwarding. I have second NAT in my network elsewhere and no chance to workaround (my public IP is different than WAN IP reported by my router). T-Mobile Poland, keep far from this "home" internet. Good news is so chat in game works. Because I mainly play solo this was no big issue up to now.

Ah that's a shame. I'll say hi to your carrier at least o7

The surrounding area does have a lot of Wolf-Rayet stars and AEMONZ AA-A H33 (384 ly) does contain 2 Wolf-Rayets that on their own are giants compared to Sol but they are in close orbit with a Blue Hypergiant that makes them look like tiny moons.
