Someone is enjoying the "meta" gameplay.
Ironically how I play has become the meta in legacy

I don't use inara or any other external tools (I don't even use a pen & paper), so not having that info cripples those that relied on it for their BGS work where I just carried on. My ships & tactics are pretty well optimised for how I play from years of experience and I have always either worked alone or as part of a small group (I've rarely been in a full wing) so I am used to working unsupported too.
According to my codex stats I have over 120,000 NPC kills, around 20,000 since the update 14 split IIRC. One of the side-quests I do is train up harmless NPC fighters to Elite. If I'm in a contested war that only takes a week or so
What I certainly haven't ever done is follow the calculated meta. I enjoy figuring things out for myself & naturally that does mean my builds & techniques tends towards being as effective as possible, playing to my strengths & mitigating my weaknesses.
I'm not interested in FPS style play & apart from a few more dockable assets the extra BGS & faction tools in Odyssey don't add anything I'm interested in doing so Legacy suits my style. In live I've been out exploring for years & mostly I do the salad hunting content in a basic Artemis suit with no mods, in theory I'm gathering explo data for tactical use if I return to civilisation but I I have no firm plans to ever return unless something comes up I need to respond to.
There was a brief period where I was in the bubble in both live and legacy but I found it confusing to manage two slowly diverging 'universes' relying only on memory.
