Elite: Dangerous Legacy League

Has somene else the same issue on Xbox? I've done the last 4 CGs but my achievement progress still stuck at 48%. I've changed consoles done two CGs wit Xbox one X and the other two with Series X but nithing changed. Progress still stuck at 48%. That's a whole month waste of time. The other thwo achievemnts poped for me very well altough one CG hasn't counted. On PS4 everything went smooth. All CGs counted normal and both trophies poped normally. Maybe someone has a solution for the future CGs.

first time i've seen it since the Legacy/Live split, but there is Infrastructure Failure in Hip 1937 at Whelan Station, an Extraction Economy.

Silver and Bertrandite are just over 3,000 credits each. if anyone is interested in some easy credits, I set up a Buy order on the Olympus Minor for Silver at 32,000 credits and Bertrandite for 12,000 credits.

Already done but the problem is i don't know whether this problem relates to frontier or to MS. I know there several problems with achievement pop on series x due to quick resume feature but i had only priblems with the cgs on my side. That's why i've done them on one x. But now i have the problem with one x as well. Could be an MS related problem but i don't think so. Even if there is an problem on console the tracker works fine in the app normally.

The legacy CG has not moved location for over 5 weeks.
So seams there done.
Moved location? I haven't seen any CGs for the last couple of weeks...

FDs communication has gotten worse as of late. I'm glad that I was there for the golden years (before Odyssey), when communication and development was thick and fast.

But at least we still have Legacy. :) I dread the day we don't. Legacy is the only VR game worth my time and I play it regularly.

I can see myself playing this game for many years to come, so I have my fingers crossed that FD has a gracious contingency plan for Legacy Horizons.

I just wish they would fix the station services list being missing in the system map, with no 3rd party tools for Legacy, the info those tools have for Live will gradually get even more disparate from Legacy than they are now.

VR comment aside I completely agree with this. I still dip in a couple of times a week just to get my space fix.

VR is just a whole other level. It is suprisingly well incorporated in to the game, with cockpits and bridges fully realised. Being able to target and follow ships and installations with your eyes/head movement gives a level of spatial awareness that is unparalleled, making manouvering your ship extremely gratifying and intuitive.

It does require some serious hardware for optimal results though, even in Legacy. But if one has the inclination and the hardware, it is highly recommended.

I can imagine it is totally awesome but alas, as a lowly PlayStation commander it won't be something I'll get to experience most likely.

(I do have two PC accounts and I can run Legacy OK but my PS account is at nearly 4000 hrs, only a couple 100 on PC so I'm not likely to jump platform.)

Found this old youtube video, that shows it off pretty well. Ships with larger canopies are better for viewing pleasure though:

That does indeed look incredible!!

What sort of PC specs / headset are you talking to run it acceptably?
Well. It is a bit of a rabbit hole, as you will probably be fiddling with settings in SteamVR, Windows Mixed Reality, in-game settings and the settings of your graphics card (you have now been warned). You can find plenty of help here or in the dedicated VR forum.

But for Legacy VR I would suggest nothing less than a 3080 (and it should be Nvidia as AMD has had problems in Elite: Dangerous VR). I had a 3070ti which didn't quite cut it for me. Upgraded to 3090 (second hand) and can't complain. Any medium modern cpu should do, as Legacy is mostly gpu dependant. SSD installation of course. Minimum of 16GB ram.
After extensive research I settled on an HP Reverb G2 V2 headset. Very pleased with it. Does everything very well.

OK, thanks for the info - to be honest both the hardware specs and the headset are out of my budget anytime soon. Def something to think about though.

And be prepared for a new learning curve, having to map everything to a HOTAS (highly recommended), and brushing up on your touch typing. :)

Yeah, it is a rather expensive, and time consuming experience. But worth it if one has the green and the inclination. :)

Well, the good news is that I've been playing on hotas for a good year and a half now - mainly on PS4/5 but I do have a PC one too. My typing is reasonably decent too - just need to find some cash...!

The Thrustmaster? I have the Thrustmaster X (cheapest one) and it has served me faithfully for many years with no hassle at all.

Yeah, cash can be pretty hard to come by. I hope you find some soon. :)

Yeah, the Thrustmaster - not the best build quality in the world but it's served me well. Got an X52 for the PC which is obviously a nicer stick but as mentioned I'm seriously time sunk into PS.
