Not on Steam.
Ironic how Starfield envy actually has me "considering" (that's too strong a word, but I lack a better one) Odyssey, ON SALE... It runs like rubbish on my computer and I hate the new lighting, but I might be able to work some magic using 3Dmigoto. I'd try it on Horizons 4.0 if I were truly tempted.
Anyway, by the time I actually have time for such shenanigans, Starfield itself might be on sale!
Not on steam (instant gaming)

I don't feel bad for a second, i was skimming though my order history on frontierstore for both my main accounts yesterday... And i bought through steam jwe dlcs a few weeks ago, back to my old habits...
I would strongly recommend then trying horizons 4.0 to see whether its worth buying odd for your machine. In most places where there's 3d models, enough of the rendering is different and has an impact on fps. Its the same client though, so as a consolation, if you do choose to buy it, there won't be an additional download.
Though i think at least ian and phoenix_dfire run odd with lower end gpu's and are still posting on the forums.. so they might have found something.
... The game really was unplayable until they fixed the skybox (including the planets being stuck on the skybox!). The last patch (which i didn't try until now) might have done wonders as well.. though no idea, i've changed a bunch of things on my machine, rebuilt windows 10, running a much more modern nvidia driver, and using the launcher from frontier (not from steam).
ps. You can buy odd from steam and use a frontier account, no steam active at all, by linking your frontier account to the steam account where you have purchased the game and dlc. Also if you only ever have had a frontier account and want to take advantage of the better prices in the steam ecosystem, you can generate a free steam key from your frontier store page, link it all up to steam, activate the generated key on steam, buy odd on steam, then play via frontier (or steam).
