If from steam, you need to click the steam icon and log-in with Steam.

Are you using IE as your default browser? IE is known to be broken - see the Troubleshooting guide. Otherwise please send me the file %TMP%\EDMarketConnector.log .

The Steam login is flakey/broken (maybe only in conjunction with PKCE?) so EDMC only offers Frontier login.

Frontier. But nevermind, got it working.

To devs: Found a solution. I was always running EDMC as an administrator and never had any issues. I did a clean install of EDMC and this time ran it without admin rights and voila! It authenticated and works now.

Having trouble logging in to EDMC. Getting the feedback:

Error: Invalid Credentials

when trying to update. Upon trying to log in with my Frontier account, and I'm positive I'm entering my email and password correctly, I'm getting the feedback:

EDMC is working for me, but I keep getting the Authenticate browser screen. It just pops up from time to time.

I don't see a pattern. Everything works, and then after a while it wants me to authenticate again (during the same session, even). It's just an annoyance, but it's new and never happened before.

Is there anything I can do to fix the issue?

Edit: Never mind, it was user error. I was inadvertently logging in to the wrong account. So I confused myself, lol.

version 3.3.7.0 having auth issues followed all faqs and still same
login is correct as its picking up the right commander etc just says auth failed

I have the same issue - log below. My default browser is Firefox, which is where the authorization request login appears. I logged into the frontier site separately to make sure the username and PW are correct (and I have only one account).

I use EMDC in conjunction with the TCE and I'm having a very similar problem. All last night it wasn't working and again today.
I logged into Frontier to check that my password and access there was all okay. I've uninstalled, deleted the EDMC folder and reinstalled. Same problem.

Same here i just get invalid credentials. I can login to my account fine on the Frontier site. It does say Frontier server down intermittently in EDMC.

EDMC worked well with 3.36, but today I got the 'Error: Invalid credentials" message and the autentication screen popped out.
I uninstalled 3.36 and installed 3.37. The some problema. However, the information about factions is sent to EDDN and EDSM

Found this on the ED Market Connector site and it worked for me

@jamsoft I have just had the same issue. I solved by going to the [Frontier auth service website](https://auth.frontierstore.net/), logging in, deauthorizing EDMC and then trying to get credentials again through EDMC. Frontier asked me to authorize EDMC again and then it worked.
