Man, you have to laugh at people saying Steam and Steam Keys aren't a big deal... you'd think that more than 2230 posts and 150 pages of thread in less than 48h would be clue enough? And that's just this thread right here, there's more of them; on the Steam forums there's another thread nearly as big as this one.
Nobody doubts that some guys don't care about Steam, to each their own, it's all good! But if you anybody still needed any proof that most gamers these days do value Steam... there you go.![]()

This is just another example of how out of touch Frontier is with the present gaming environment. Stuck in '84, always will be.
They are game development house crunching 2 - 3 critically acclaimed games for various platforms each year, while having healthy profit. They just cashed in around 18k copies of ED from Steam.
I think they are doing pretty well.
