Or madly thrashing A Kempston. :)
View attachment 192945
Even the old Kempston couldn't survive the beating from track and field, I use to have to take a bus journey into town at least one Saturday each month for them to replace it!
Strange as back in the day boots the chemist had the best computer department in town, even better than Dixon's!...

The most damage that got done to mine was, my older brother throwing it at a wall in frustration with Track and Field and many other titles :)
Tolerance was not his strong point and still isn't.

There was a blue and white one that came out and the plastic was rubbish, too brittle.

and at least the blister was kn0b shaped.

I had 2 zipsticks and a translucent blue and silver competition pro. These sticks were made to last. At my pinacle I was unbeatable.on kickoff 2 with my zipstick. (On the Amiga, I was rubbish on the speccy as you could not tell where you were on the pitch)

Hey Frontier! I really appreciate your steadfast ethic when it comes to elite dangerous and it is by far one of my favorite games and I just wanted to voice my opinion on Ship Interiors. In my opinion, ship interiors is a must in regards to the idea of Elite being a captivating space sim. I could write a whole essay on why I think being able to walk around your ship is necessary, but I'll keep it short. I think this game's biggest achievement is its ability to wholly immerse you in the idea of being an independent CMDR with his own massive ship who can go and do whatever he wants in the vastness of space. But, a lot of the time for me, i find myself just sitting still just watching the game, whether it be in the cockpit switching through cams, or in a station, just watching the massive space vessels go about their business. And I think the ability to walk around your ship would complete this feeling. Nothing would satisfy my soul more then being able to walk to the bottom observation deck on my anaconda and just watch the stars, or maybe a haz rez from afar :)
I know this update has required a lot of manpower and has been in development for a while so i understand the implications of adding something like this out of nowhere, but i truly believe that this feature could be one of the most liked and best things you could possibly add to Elite.
Regardless of what you guys decide, I would still love to talk to you, because i bet I could change your minds into adding it if you let me, and reaching out to the creators of my favorite game would be awesome as well.

Hey Frontier!

I just ran that through my thargonian universal translator and that came up with the following:

In my opinion, ship interiors are a must in regards to the idea that Elite is a captivating space simulator. I could write a whole essay on why I think being able to circle your ship is necessary, but I'll keep it short. I think the biggest achievement of this game is its ability to fully immerse yourself in the idea of being an independent CMDR with its huge ship that can go and do whatever it wants in the vastness of space. But, most of the time for me, I find myself watching the game, whether it's in the cockpit passing through the cameras or in a station, watching the huge spaceships go about their business. Nothing would satisfy my soul more than being able to walk up to the lower observation deck on my anaconda and just gaze at the stars, or maybe a danger from afar :)

I shudder to think of the work that would be required to model the interior of every ship. Most Commanders would expect a certain level of quality and detail and that is reasonable but the time and expense would push the release back until...well, Star Citizen would probably be finished by then! Yes, that far in the future.
