all i am hoping for is that there is enough new stuff for us to discover and that i have a chance to get a few first discoveries under my belt before those pc/xb1 commanders take all the credit
My 2 cents:
I read the original book and watched the original movie named "Titantic" (just one example). And all of the three dozen variations ever produced for the big screen and or TV. As well as millions of others have done. Regardless of the fact that they are all the same story line, with the same exact plot, and ending (Spolier Alert, the boat always sinks). WHY do individuals like myself and millions of others, spend time and money repeatedly on an movie, when we already know the story line, events, exploits etc. When the only thing different between ALL the variations are in addition to different actors, only basically the graphics. WHY; Does one pay money to read and or view it again and again etc.
On the other hand, though ED first released was back in 1984 (34 years ago); FD's release of ED on Sony's PS4, will be new to the majority of PS4 gamers. I concur, that unlike us, the majority of which have not and or are not subscribers to the numerious forums, or view(ed) the numerious u tube productions; Making the game entirely NEW, along with all its various plot lines, events, etc.
Personally, though I am EXTREMLY interested in the numerious plots and events uploaded to u tube. I deliberately make it a point not to pay much attention; Which makes me only aware of them. Thus when I start to play, it will all be new to me. I tend to only wach or read about the "How to" data.
ED on PS4 could be aquaited with having had sex with numerious partners, and or watching porno. Though we all may know the how to play and or the (happy endings) results, we have an over whelming desire to seek other partners and continue to watch other video's; WHY? With the exception of indivuduals and or actors, the ONLY difference is the graphics.
I guess it depends on your definition of 'nearly'..... it's coming along nicely and, when it's ready, I'm sure our Marketing and Community Teams will let everyone know.
