Thanks

Do you fix the issue where players can't text chat wither another one ?

That's been the very first thing I just tried and.... "Transmission not sent; Unable to connect to PlayerName"

Narp, they didn't. So "improved matchmaking" just to be unable to communicate :D

I really hope I'm not screwed with this, and I'm reluctant to log back on to find out if I am, but when the patch announcement came up while playing, I thought I'd have plenty of time to get to the station I had just locked onto after hyperjumping into the system.
Things were going ok until I realised it was taking ages to travel there.

With two minutes to go I finally dropped out of supercruise, booked to dock with station and was just about to touch down when the game ended.

So here's my my worry. When I log back in, will I be in free space, will I be docked, or will I be floating about in a station, with landing clearance expired and the whole stations weapon system pointed my way?

I know I could have just waited or side of the dock and landed when I went back onto the game, but its amazing how quick 5 mins turns into 2, then that 2 runs out.

Anyone know the answer to this? Cheers

System moved?

Good work on the patch, devs!

Just one thing, I've been in the Ditibi system for a week or so doing trade runs, but now after the patch, it is located about 70 Ly away from where it previously was, and has a completely different set of surrounding systems. What's going on there? It used to neighbour Komovoy, Panopi, Solati, etc. and Now it's next to Donner, Kushen, Macalites, Pwyll, etc.

Is that expected behaviour or is something awry here?

The game is broken for explorers.

Can you remove or prevent cartography data from being destroyed if you die in a populated system?
The click-here-and-wait-30-seconds-and-repeat-for-multiple-hours minigame when selling cartography data essentially prevents explorers from exploring.

You should appear outside the station.

same happened to me just a few Meters from the pad heading straight for it! Usually i end up in deep space after a disconnect..

Great update thanks Michael and team.
TICKET #00000022138 about game losing system focus and reverting to desktop would be nice soon....when you have time...
Cheers

When I returned from my exploration trip and had data for hundreds of systems, I just gave up and wrote a mouse script to click the buttons repeatedly overnight.

Yeah it's technically an exploit, but there really should be a sell all button, even if it just does what my script does under the hood.

I noticed an exploit people are using on the Anaconda when they exit the station. They are shutting the game down to exit the station using the safety disconnect that allows them to safely exit the station if a disconnection occurs while docking. With no shields they take a risk when they leave the station of running into other ships and have removed that risk by what I believe to be an exploit.

This was documentated a long time ago.. hmmm

I'd like to add to my previous post (which hasn't been approved at the time of writing) that I think something must be up because the imported from/exported to data on the commodities market for Ditibi still shows the old surrounding systems, which are now 70+ Ly away.

Just took out a Deadly Wanted Anaconda at a nav beacon with a power plant kill and got no bounty. I was firing right up until he exploded.

Hi Michael
I fail to understand most of the improvements - welcome as I'm sure they are! - they need to be translated into Scottish dialect thickonese for me. PS there's no "b" in "consumed". The game - what an inadequate word - is brilliant. Even better than the 1984 version I played in my 30s! Doug
