Elite Dangerous | Update 13 Notes

It wasn't projection in the first instance. If you can't be honest in discussion then there's no point in responding, unless you are just trolling? I will only answer that point as it stands by asking; is it wrong to say there isn't a quest to complete in Elite? And by that I mean, completing the game to a 'congratulations, you win' screen or somesuch.

Nice backpedal. Love the passive-aggressive projection! Accusing me of dishonesty & trolling through the cute question method is an old technique, but rather passé.
It's plain from what I said (in this and other threads) I'm not trolling at all about grind and the need for other gameplay mechanics.
To frame it in that manner is disingenuous on your part to begin with.
I understand people get off on the skinner box mechanics that comprise a large chunk of ED/EDO. We all do, the game is built around it.
I never said to remove it, I'm saying add more variety to the mix. If they ever add other mechanics that are not grindy, you don't have to use them.

I'll leave it here.

After update 13, I am getting a Orange Sidewinder error when attempting to exit supercruise at any Orbis starport. This doesn't occur when flying my ASP Explorer or Challenger to an outpost or a Coriolis starport. Anyone else have this problem?

Tried to "upgrade" again. Launcher locks up still.
Tried what Jason did, downloaded fresh launcher install. Same result as before. Launcher is completely unresponsive and does not start upgrade or download fresh files.
Not sure if you have checked your exceptions in any AV installed but worth mentioning, I managed finally to get all updates installed (Odyssey, Horizon and Dangerous) by uninstalling launcher then re-installing after each upgrade, not sure why this worked but still think it's a launcher coding issue as the usual 'check/install latest graphic driver/Windows updates/Microsoft visual c++/Microsoft NET. versions etc updates proved to be a total waste of time as game now runs fine on all games just as it did before launcher had to be upgraded.
Just a thought.

i upgrade the game as it came out. also, upgrade horizons.... everything seemed to be ok....

The next day when the upgrade for the launcher came out, is when i upgraded the launcher. everything seems okay-ish now. still, a big delay when switching ships though. oh and the galaxy map sometimes. don't recall under what circumstances right now but it happens.. dog fighting in a haz rez, even with a lot of loot/mines (is there a color diff? i can't tell between blips on the radar) in the area. seems dead smooth. :)

I'd say nice double down but your argument has literally devolved into flailing insinuations and chasmic leaps of logic. You're basically arguing with yourself at this point.
