Elite Dangerous | Update 13 Notes

Anyone else unable to transfer the desired asset/goods/data from FC storage to ship storage? I see item transfer with FC was fixed in the patch notes but I am unable to transfer because another random item is queued for transfer rather than the one I've selected. This happens while docked at my FC and disembarked. Sadly this bug completely blocks personal equipment engineer progression and suit/weapon upgrades as I'm unable to access the mats I've spent hours farming.

@sallymorganmoore , apologies for the ping, but the following issue, marked as fixed, is still there:
"An issue has been fixed whereby commodities would not transfer from a Commander’s Fleet Carrier to their ship.
  • A player example of this was when a Commander reported being unable to unload Food Cartridges and Uranium from their Fleet Carrier to their cargo racks
"
What I do is this: I accept wing transfer mission, sell the cargo to my FC and abandon the mission. I cannot transfer that cargo from the FC to my ship. When I press "commit changes" (I can't remember the label) the ship cargo is back to 0. I can buy it from my secure warehouse, but not simply transfer it.
Also, selling cargo to my FC requires entering the market twice.

Thanks for all your help :D

Dear Sally - thank you once again for your wonderful attention to these things. I note that there is nothing addressing the known pulse wave scanner issue that has decimated mining after the introduction of U12. It's not even in the known issues. A whole career path is dead in the water at the moment because of this bug and there isn't even a mention! https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/50436
@sallymorganmoore That will be me - far out in the black and relying on being able to mine tritium to get back home from Sag A*. No chance at the moment.
This game is killing me.

While the pulse wave scanner definitely seemed to be broken, (mostly in that it showed a lot of glow but there was no rock for the source), I did find enough tritium. It was rather painful, though.
And then there's still the issue of fragments (mostly from sub-surface mining (my favorite)) getting stuck in the rock in the asteroids, but that was before UD 13 dropped: I haven't mined since.

However, yeah, it was painful. Not much worse than all those false-positives.

An issue has been fixed whereby severe shadow flickering would occur, most notably at settlements during sunrises and sunsets.

Im still finding really bad shadow flickering inside buildings and around settlements in U13 that was introduced in U12, not sure if optimisation work from gaining a few fps is worth that far more distracting penalty!

I upvoted, and added this reproduction report: "Mining in overlapping hotspots: Often the asteroid that lights up is nothing special (no cores, surface or subsurface deposits and no unusually high laser-minable constituents), and also glows sometimes vanish after a while, even when "double-pinging" by holding down the Pulse Wave Scan button all through both its first cooldown and a second usage. Sub-surface deposit markers do not disappear even when mined out, leading to wasted effort and "ammo" trying to mine them a second time."

There's also this similar one: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/51484

Oh great. So instead of contributing to an existing issue and putting full community force, we are fractured and letting an issue slide under the carpet.
That happens all the time. Either people don't search at all when opening a new issue, or the previously listed issue was named in a way a quick search doesn't find. That's why Sally has the sad task of monitoring forum threads like this to catch issues that would otherwise fly under the radar.

That's an issue with the bug tracker, it is setup in such a way that the search fails to find anything . So instead of getting 10 votes we have 10 reports and therefore Fdev can write expired rather than fix . So for Fdev it's working as intended .

Well, you could always increase your offer price on Tritium and have other players bring it to you for Big Cash rewards. Maybe FDev are trying to replicate real life fuel prices

There's a group that fills carriers for you, i don't recall the name right now but i'm guessing someone else might.

Mugs?

Overnight, practically, someone bought the carrier load of Tritium I had in Magellan for 2.6 billion credits, a nice return on my mining sessions.

I'd love it if someone else had done the hard work for me.
