It's probably also the case that if Frontier had perfect foresight, the weekly server reset would take place on Tuesdays as well - but that needed to be regularised long before Frontier moved to having large enough gaps between patches that fixing a day of the week could work (the 1.x releases were all over the place and sometimes more frequent than weekly) and it'd be really inconvenient to move now.

Thursdays for server ticks/resets actually make sense. This allows game events that require a server tick to start as close to weekends as possible while still leaving reasonable firefighting buffer zone in case something goes awry.

Edit to add: This seems to be some kind of game iteration or something, or some kind of clone, but the design is kind of iconic and easily recognizable.

We may be old enough for either the original battlestar AND the remake that the picture comes from to not be recognized by the younger public.

With super carrier now being out you really need to look at the cost of personal carrier, both in terms of purchase cost and upkeep costs as are they really worth the invest they once had at launch?

I remember I spent ages trying to rebuild the Galactica with my random Lego bricks. That was WAY before you had special bricks and dedicated kits for stuff like that.

Of course I failed. But the design is probably lasered into the brains of many a seventies kid. Those were the days.

Well I am old enough to have used terminals like the ones in the Original Battlestar Galactica at work, I am also old enough to be slightly unsure of the model number but Tektronix 4014 I think.

That will depend on how many times more expensive a Squadron Carrier is after all there will be a whole squadron funding it.
