Elite / Frontier Elite Forum Skin

Hi folks,

There is now an Elite forum skin which you should see when visiting this forum. This is to bring the Elite forum in-line with the Elite website we brought online September last year.

This forum skin shouldn't override your selected forum skin unless you're just using the default skin (i.e haven't specifically selected a skin in your User CP) but this may change later down the line.

If you notice anything which isn't working then let me know and I'll work to fix it.

Not bad, but I think the online indicators and smilies look a bit "furry" with the grey background, otherwise yes a good step in reminding everyone that this is the home of Elite and that's a good thing if you were thinking of releasing, oh I don't know, a new Elite game?

Yeah it's currently a little borderline brown/gold. A little more gold wouldn't do any harm - with everyones monitors showing different colours it's frustrating trying to find the correct one. I just end up scratching my head

I need to find some emoticons which display on black backgrounds (same with the 'post reply' icons etc. as well), might look to see what additional emoticons can be added while I'm at it.

Just realised it wasn't activated. It's the skin called "Forum v2" - you can select it from "Edit Options" in User CP.

Nice one Callum, this looks a lot cooler. So does the new skin indicate developments on the horizon???
(Not really any hope asking this given that the Outsider's date hasn't been announced, but....)

ps Forum v2 goes back to blue for me. How can I have been on this forum for 4 years and never noticed these options

Nope may mistake I've tilted the monitor more forward and I see the brown is more of bronze gold colour,looks good.
