I tried...maybe because it's on Google+ I don't have a web site to host the photo on so that was my first port of call.

Probably the case, one of the free hosting sites, photobucket, dropbox imageshack etc are be ok though.

I assume you tried with the link you posted? That wont work since it links to a page on G+ that shows the image, you need to link directly the the image. Something like Dropbox or some dedicated image hosting service is generally more fitting for things like this, they make it easier to get the direct URL.

Anyway, if you want to add it to the original post use the following link in a IMG tag:

Imgur so far is great because 1. pictures don't seem to "disappear" because of bandwidth or time 2. you can just upload and get a link for BB code with thumbnail and link to the large image.

In fact my wife doesn't even mind if I have an affair with another woman
