Fiction Elite : Reclamation

Hey, I've just started reading this again (so good I read it twice) and noticed that I'm in the credits twice :)
Once for my name and once for my Cmdr's name.

I am of course happy to take double the credit for the small part I played ;)

Nicely done there Senator!

We do know a few more things thanks to T. James - though I'll leave that for people to read and discover.

Wow Drew, What a truly fantastic book. Thoroughly enjoyed it from first to last letter arg, I'm going to read Kate's book next, then ill read yours again, and wait not so patiently for the sequel... ;)

Thank you

Many thanks Zenturi, much appreciated. :) Always good to hear from folks who have enjoyed my story.

As for sequels, whether that ever occurs lies entirely with Frontier Developments; fans of the fiction will need to ask them about the possibility.

In the meantime I'm working on my own SF projects. If you need me, please contact me via the links in my sig.

For now - all I can say is...

...Right on, Commanders!

Folks,

I'm going to be taking a break from the forums for a while, so please use the following if you you need me for anything. :) I've added an Elite: Reclamation FAQ for the obvious questions.

Okay. I think that's him gone now. Remember he's left this thread completely open so we can do anything to it while he's away. I'm going to rifle through his stuff to see if there's anything about a sequel.

Shame to see you go, there was a lot of fun finding those mysteries.

As for the rest of you, do you want to start discussing plot points or the characters, and what they represent?

No.

We should get our torches and pitchforks out and demand Frontier give Drew a new license.

I am only half joking...

Even though I had read his blog, it was devastating to me to see today's Galnet article :/

Folks,

Just popping back briefly with a small 'gift'. ;)

I've been notified that my 'Official Guidebook to Elite: Reclamation' has somehow leaked onto Google and has been doing the rounds. This was originally an exclusive pledge award for my Kickstarter backers. Rather than try to do a 'King Canute' and remove the document from the world' favourite search engine, I've taken the decision to make it generally available from my website for free. My Kickstarter backers have had it for over a year, so hopefully they won't object to me doing this - as I mentioned, it's already out there anyway.

This guide tells you all about the background to my book, how it came about, some of the early concepts, how I tried to pay homage to the original and sequel games, lots of detail on the Prism system, the characters (Kahina, Luko, Hassan and the rest) and the evolving plot-line I put together.

There's no news of sequels I'm afraid, so this is the 'last chord' in the Elite: Reclamation story. I hope you enjoy it and gain a little insight into what was involved in putting together the Elite: Reclamation story.

Until we meet again...

As ever, cheers,

Drew.
