I very much agree with your thoughts on ED... After the RNGineers i've finally lost my interest in the game. I think "There’s also some other essential element of Elite that is missing for me in the current game. I’ve tried hard to figure out what this is. It may just be nostalgia for times past, and it’s possibly just that. How could anything today live up to the rose tinted experience of playing a game as a young teenager?" has lots to do with it too :D

Well said, I agree with much of what you said. I need to submit a proposal for my own book, now that I think about it ;)

Also, the connection problems I often complained about to your site seem to be my provider only. I had no problems with connecting at a restaurant :p

Hi Drew,
As much as I'm looking forward to the next book I haven't actually read the first one yet! Are you planning a second edition of Reclamation that would have extra material in it like Allen did with Lave Revolution?

No plans for a revised version of Elite: Reclamation at present (though I'd like to tweak it to adjust the 'Imperial Clipper' issue at the end). Might see if we can get a new hardback run together to co-incide with the launch of the new book though.

Extra material is appearing in game, so no need for a book revision. Not a fan of lengthy appendices anyway. I will summarise that in ED,P and then cut to the chase. :)
