Employee Staff Training, Breakroom & other Facilities

I was wondering if training employees/staff will work in the same way as RCT3?
In one of the pre-viz animations we can see a security guard sitting at a desk,
This leads me to ask... Will there be a training room?

A particular game Theme Hospital had similar management features. Doctors could have different "degrees" of special interest (like surgeon, psychiatrist, etc.) and "higher trained/educated" doctors could teach other doctors. You could build a classroom, with desks and a projector screen [big grin] could be a cool addition to management for PC!

Like as example - employees could start out serving drinks, be trained to run rides, then maybe become a mechanic? Of course you could still just hire a mechanic, but "self trained" employees would be cheaper to pay? or something to that affect

Also, will employees ever leave their post/ride/shop? Can employees "rotate" with each other? like as one gets tired they leave their post to go rest and another worker replaces them? Would this require too many staff to be hired/managed and shops/rides to be momentarily shutdown/delayed?

Or how about an optional "lawn mower" vehicle for certain handymen to use? [weird]

Someone answer this. Please. I have the same questions.

'Upgraded' one of my Janitors to "Level 2." Whoopie doo. What does this mean in terms of productivity? Otherwise just seems like clicking another useless button, why even enable it?

I too would like to see the Park Managed developed further. It's an important aspect of the game. Also, from creapers signature - would love a Park Closing Schedule option!

Aye I think every management topic I refer to Theme Hospital because it worked so well and was so much fun. Your post is spot on.

What are your thoughts on group training? In my experience with entry-level jobs, people may train a little bit one-on-one with a supervisor, but it seems that most companies have a form of group training where all the janitors will train together, or all the food service staff, etc.

Group training is a good idea. You could do it where if you have 5-10 staff that require similar/same training (role specific) could be trained together. You could in Theme Hospital train all your doctors at once as it was done by X number desks but you would have to make sure to have other staff covering. Again goes back to how that worked.

heres a video as an example (but the guy playing isnt very good lol)

I still have Theme Hospital on my computer and play it once in a while and I still like all the gameplay. If someone remade Theme Hospital exactly the same but with uber graphics I would buy it now tbh. But a new Theme Hospital where you built wings and floor levels with some minor new game mechanics and I would sell my soul.

So many fond memories right there haha.

Anyways back on topic, yes we need this level of training minimum otherwise tbh I will get bored with the career mode and I am not a sandbox player.

Really great ideas here. I was also thinking a lot about Theme Hospital (TH) and the way PC could use ideas from.

The staff training and employees with different skills are definitely one of the thing I love the most about TH.

The staff should not be here forever. Another cool thing to manage in TH is the staff because they take breaks and we should check to be sure the customers will be serve, so it would be great to see this kind of thing in PC.
