So I'm in the Gongalungul system, which is riddled with conflict zones. But There are no enemies in them. Just fleets of friendlies or neutrals flying in a circle doing nothing.
What gives?
Yup, went there as well. Thought that I could increase my Empire rep to allied by blasting some rebels away there. And it all looked so perfect. Station and Outposts very close to the star, as are the Conflict Zones. Alright I thought, let's do this! Picked up a "Kill Warzone Vessels" Mission, headed to the High-Intensity Zone, picked the Empire League as faction and... nothing. The "enemy" ships had no faction, nobody was fighting. So I thought to myself: Well, I'll just clip some of those ships showing up as still yellow, thinking these would be enemies. I killed the required amount of ships but received NO Combat Bound credits and when I returned to hand in my contract and claim my credits, I actually LOST reputation with the Empire League as well as with the whole Empire, although on the debriefing it showed a rep GAIN.
So that didn't go well to say the least... I have visited ONE working conflict zone near Sobargo I think but the Conflict Zones were just too far away from the star to make it profitable and interesting for me. Also, I think the faction giving out the mission was independent or actually fighting against the Empire, not sure about that though.
