ETA on Space Legs?

I wonder if they actually did that how many members of the forums would get on here and start talking about how oh that's perfectly logical they do that and your all a bunch of whiney babies and blah blah blah it's not negative reinforcement to have your legs cut off if you dont play every week.

With how things are uncohesively Slapped into elite the last thing I want is space legs.
QFT. FD just need to use what they've got for now, which is, coincidentally, criminally underused, to actually put some game back in this hamster wheel.
Coz really, who would be using legs when they've got a 100m/week upkeep to meet.

Of course if players find a way to make Space Legs profitable - FDev will break them in the next update
And then add space splinters and space canes, each for the low, low price of 2205 ARX.
I would love to see legs for use in exploring those abandoned bases, actually getting inside of them, etc. There are some things you just can't do in an SRV.
However, I've learned not to pine over them not being in the game. I'm more hopeful for atmospheric landings (hopefully in the BIG update in 2020). Lord knows they waste all those other planets and the potential for being chased by something that lives there and wants you for dinner. Keep in mind your SRV can go much faster than legs can and if that Bugblatter Beast is after you, well, they can run at 35 miles per hour and your legs, well, they'll be the first thing it grabs when it catches you.
Best if you just put legs out of your mind. Assume you'll never see them. Then if they're put into the game (possibly as a DLC), then it'll be a happy surprise. If you never get them, at least you won't be disappointed.
