Real World Theme Parks Europapark - One of the most beautiful in Europe / Worldwide

Hello,

i wanna present you one of the finest parks in the world and ofc one of the beauties of europe.
http://www.europapark.de/en
Its called " Europapark " and is located in germany at the border to france and switzerland.

If you havent been there its a must visit and especially for the developers it might help making Planet Coaster a better game if you visit this park.
Its totaly different from most parks at other places around the world since it is more than just a park. Its a little world on its own, where ever you look at there are those tiny little details you will find all over the park.

In contrast to parks in america and some other places its not as meagre / bald when it comes down to theming the park with scenery. (Loads of other parks just place a coaster and below its just gras or stone and some lights. In this park every single angle you can see of anything is themed properly and beautiful.

Here are two of their popular rides, atleast take a look at those 2 youtube videos.

http://www.europapark.de/en/park/attractions-shows/wodan-timburcoaster (Maybe one of the best timber / wood coasters ever)

Don't forget their relatively new Concept Ride Arthur:
Fortunatly i don't live very far from the Park.

You can spend a day there and still have plenty to see.

If I''m not mistaken, this park is owned by Mack, right? And the park was in the beginning an exhibition. Their attractions were prototypes so potential buyers could see them in action. That's why a lot of the older attractions are smaller (the bobsled and minetrain coaster). Am I right?

I def want to go there sometime in the (near) future. I like the 2 coasters you showed us, but I also think the giant white/grey one is so awesome and intense. But qua theming, I think I like Phantasialand more

The park is owned and run by the Mack family yes, the same family who own Mack Rides.

The park still is very much a 'showroom' park to showcase Mack's rides as it is a functioning theme park. Athur and Blue Fire are two examples of Macks latest ride systems.

Phantasialand is nice, i haven't been there a long time. To your statement before: No not all Attractions in the beginning were their own (and still aren't). But most i would say. They were mostly known for the Powered Coasters. Now they do a lot more than that. Did you see Pulsar in Walibi? That's an awesome idea :) Combining LSM Launch with a Super Splash.

The Grey Coaster is from B&M and called Silver Star. A few People Nicknamed it "Car Park Coaster" because it runs over the Parking Lot of the Park. But to be fair, it is Car Themed... so there.
