Description

Evangeline’s Elite Expeditionary Force has revealed plans to build a megaship in the Shana Bei system.

Archangel Evangeline, commander of the faction, made the following announcement:

The successful construction of the megaship EFS Archangel will serve not only the Federation but the entire galactic community. EFS Archangel will provide a hub for our military operations, allowing us to bring the fight to our enemies and defend imperilled systems. Together, we will make EFS Archangel a safe place to trade and share knowledge. Long live humanity!

To ensure completion of the project, the organisation has requested Superconductors, Computer Components and Insulating Membranes from the galactic community. Pilots who contribute these resources to the Force at Chu City in Shana Bei will be rewarded at the conclusion of the project.

The campaign will take place between the 13^th and 19^th of June 3305. If the final target is met earlier than planned, the campaign will end immediately.

To earn rewards you must sign up as an active participant before delivering Superconductors, Computer Components and Insulating Membranes to Chu City in the Shana Bei system.

Be aware that faction-state changes and other disruptive events can negatively impact markets and station services, and could prevent the initiative from running smoothly.

No BH CG to go along with the trade one again? I used to enjoy those, seems like ages since we last had one. It's a shame we only get one CG now instead of two.

This is an "improvement" to the CG system - occasional interstellar initiatives with terrible rewards and half the community goals we used to have.

Excellent, really into this and remembered to sign up before dropping my first load of Superconductors.

This should be quite lucrative as 448 SC's = nearly 2mill profit and 2XP points into my current trade ranking per trip.

T10 really earning it's keep now, the only caveat being if I have to start going further afield will need to swap out one of my cargo bays for a better fuel scoop. Trying to fill the belly of this beast at 75 units per second is more painful than watching England play cricket!

Well that didn't take long! Cutter/T9 sized supply levels of Insulating Membrane now cannot be found within 50 Ly of the CG system … Time for a different commodity I think

Ibold Port is rapidly emptying of Superconductors, only about 9k left. Will assume they will all go overnight (UK time) so will look elsewhere tomorrow.

Out of interest, how often do the stations/fabs restock?

I think it varies according to state amongst other things.

BGS refill on stations happen once a day on BGS tick... normaly around 12PM/GMT/UTC/IGT amount per station varies...

With low unit items supplies on CGs, the high price items 1 and 2 are normaly gone at all local stations (<80ly) by saturday, the BGS will fail to keep up with demand... the low profit Item 3 normaly never runs out which is why its added...
Currently Cutters and T9 are clearing out the IMs as they are still available, once there gone the superconductors will then crash on stations as cutters will hit them...
Buy sunday every one will be shipping computer components... That is if they have not altered BGS..

People will also start looking to see if switching to Pythons or Kraits and visiting nearer outposts is a better use of time than jumping further for the remaining stocks of high value items at large pad stations.

Though supplies at outposts look poor for Insulating Membranes.

Looks like I'll be investing in that bigger fuel scoop for the "Wiltshire Beast" then. Might also see if I've got enough mats to visit Farseer and squeeze another couple of LY from the jump drive, though that's probably something to do after this campaign.

What would make these campaigns more interesting and involving is if you were able to service the supply chain too. Stations need raw materials to produce the finished components and everyone needs food and water. Probably sounds a bit X-ish (where the goal was always to set up a largely self sufficient complex) but would add variety and maybe some smaller, cheaper tasks the less experienced players or those with smaller ships could also contribute to.

I took one look at IM availability on eddb and went straight to superconductors. Still making 3 million per round trip and supplies are plentiful ATM.

eddb is inaccurate in some cases. I just found a large pad base with 8000 membranes not far away.
