Ever coming to console?

Consoles are the sole reason we pc gamers have to wait for the next gen before we see games having better graphics.

Even the next gen console will be less powerfull than any current mid-end pc.

Games that are pc only tend to be much better than games that are multi-platform.

Kuch... jwe

While I'm basically agreeing, I won't bet on this part. The next XBOX and PS5 already confirmed for late 2020 will be powered by AMD ZEN 2 CPU's and a NAVI (possibly RDNA 1.5/2) GPU Architecture based Chip which are really powerful architectures.
Sure, they will absolutely not outperform a High End Gaming Rig, but they will be faster than the average lower midrange to midrange PC. But basically, you are right, PlanZoo won't work on Console due to piece by piece building and sharing, which will most certain, similar to PlanCo be based on STeam Workshop.

There we go again. It is not a timed exclusive. Planet Coaster was released almost 3 years ago and it is still a PC exclusive. If you want to play the game just get a better computer or something.
That’s what they all say... they all say ‘something’,

Flimley

Unfortunately, it is a fact.
If the game were multiplatform it could not have the great amount of customization that promises.
And this customization is, precisely, the essence of the Planet saga.

I suppose if the number of sales is very good, they may consider taking the game for sale on consoles as well
Planet Coaster has sold over 2 million units and was released in November 2016. That game will not be released on consoles

Planet Zoo is based on Planet Coaster. Therefore it is safe to assume that the same can be said of Planet Zoo; it's a PC exclusive game and will not be released on consoles. Not at release, and not after release.

Planet Coaster is well known to be performance heavy, and with the same building system, and what looks like the same guests system with the addition of weather (which PC doesn't have for performance reasons) I think that a console just isn't going to be able to run it. As is the same for Planet Coaster.

STOP! with the negative waves
I am not trying to be negative and I am sorry if you feel this way. I just would not get your hopes up. With completely free building games, every item and guest slows down the fps. Every player of Planet Coaster will experience this at some point, as I would expect with Planet Zoo. JWE has a limited building system, and smaller maps, which means this is far less likely to happen. The guests are also not as intelligent, therefore the cost on performance is not as high.

I expect it is the decision between having limited creativity (JWE) and having as much as your hardware can handle (Planet Coaster), not to mention that the controls on a console would limit how these tools would work. A console version would basically have to be a dumbed down version, which would be a shame.

But you got no roller coaster build mechanics to worry about just some little animals wandering about...cummon.. how hard can be...really?
