Every single time I start the game after turning the pc on (only the first time) the game freezes on the menu. I have to stop the process and start the game again. After a few updates this hasn't been fixed so i wonder if I am the only person with this problem. I reinstalled the game and it didn't fix it.

I have the same or similar problem. For me it's the login to the online features (top left corner), it gets stuck on "connecting..." then the game crashes.
I can't even interact with any of the main menu, settings etc, so this issue is unavoidable.
Like you, waiting for the inevitable crash and relaunching fixes it because it connects right away.

i had it too. First time start and load screen doesnt load up properly and it freezes my PC. I was also suffering from slow animal trading when im franchise.
I googled it and found the advice was to disable geforce experience (if you are running it). I did this and it solved the slow animal trading connection so hoping its solved the start up issue too

I dont use geforce experience.
