Loving it. Play almost every day and still enjoy every session.
Not yet... I like the game a LOT more post 1.1 & 1.2 but they have a distance to go before I'd say I'm "Happy" with it. There's 3 or 4 things that need fixing before I'll be able to sit back and say "Yano what, I'm really happy with ED and it's near flawless".
Definitely improved a LOT in the last 5 weeks though, so GJ FDev.

I am with ya and I was sick of the negative threads - yes loads is wrong but SO MUCH is right!!
I'm more than basically happy with ED. This is the game that, like a lot of others, I have been waiting to see return for a long time. Now that it's here, I love it. As for updates, well, change is a fact of life. The developers are clearly working hard to give us a great gaming experience. Loving it!
The update was perfectly fine for me. Cam is nice, now i can tell a friend of mine where his landing pad is in case he missed it

The only other games that have held my attention this long at once are: Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Stalker SOC --- and all of these I modded heavily to add difficulty, variety and keep myself interested.
When I consider how 'shallow' much of ED's mechanics are - I am pretty surprised how much fun I'm having. There must be more depth than I've noticed

It's a great game... I play it as much as I can and 1.2 only made me want to play even more. I really like the fact that each ship seems much different from each other, each with it own flight dynamics, feel and personality. DEV's did an excellent job with this. The new flight cam is also excellent. I also like the fact that there are so many places to fly to and things to do...some people don't think the game has much depth, but I disagree. I've been playing hours and hours each day since the first of the year and I've only scratched the surface, as I've not yet done any bounty hunting, piracy, or mining...

I am happy to be playing Elite Dangerous entirely. I totally get that it is, and will be for a very long time a work in progress. I was very glad to have been able to start playing this in Beta, and even more happy that it was released just before christmas '14 too. Been plenty of fixes and updates since release, and it is nice to see some of the balancing moves that have been done. I would like to see perhaps some nice story boarded stuff go in, but for now, i'm fine with the engine itself being worked on before putting the customisation on tha' body so to speak
I like that I can pretty much do what I want, when I want.
Fallout 3 big up.. But i was a child of elite when it first saw the light of day. It was AMAZING
And this game has gone a long way to capture those amazing first days playing elite whe it was wire frame. It blew me away then and this game is doing a good solid job trying to do the same.
Game is downloaded, X55 coming in tomorrow, then I begin! This is positive, cause Im pretty excited to jump into this beaut!
