Everyone that is BASICALLY happy with the game post here please

Oh, hell yes!

This is my favourite game since the original Elite, I reckon.

"One thing I really love about it", you say? Well, I love the way the game doesn't treat you as "the main character of the Universe", if you know what I mean - being a (realistically) insignificant random person makes the game universe feel big (and important and real) in a way which most game worlds don't to me...

Very happy with my little fleet of ships... T6 for cargo, Asp for exploring and just thinking off fitting out another Viper for combat (I used to have one but sold it to finance my first T6).
It's getting better all the time... worth waiting 30 years for, I think.
I'm glad I joined the Kickstarter way back, as it looked touch and go for a while that it wouldn't make target, that would have been a terrible shame.....

Very happy with the current state of the game even with not being able to try out wings yet. I have taken breaks due to RL and other games I have commitments to, but I can see myself playing Elite for years to come. Looking forward to more news about 1.3 :D

I started on Monday afternoon and have been slowly getting to grips with the game for the last few evenings. Making a little more progress each day. I'm happy with everything I've seen so far and look forward to spending more time with it!

Have been playing since start of the year and spend a n hour or so a day and 2-3 hours at weekends. Find it an amazing way to wind down from the stresses of work and actually at 45yrs of age find it scary that I look forward to going home to get back in my ships.

Have worked my way up to an Asp that I then used for rares trading. Managed to kit it all out with A rated stuff to go exploring. Come back from my first trip that took 7-8 weeks and made enough to buy a T7 and with a bit of trading should have it all kitted out in A gear aswell.

Next plan is to use the T7 to get the best fully kitted out Vulture I can possibly get. At this point I believe 3 ships are better than one or two and will allow me to do about anything in the game whatever content comes out.

But as I type this thinking about parking my trader at home and set off in to the great abyss again. Love it.

Would say I feel that 3 ships are better than one big Anaconda, etc. Asp for Exploring and rares trades. T7 for short jump general trading. Vulture for bounty hunting and warfare. All 3 parked up in my hanger at Leesti.

Well, I'm happy I'm finally able to play again, after 1.2 update left me without ED for more than a week. Enjoying the Vulture right now. And trying to trade a bit with a Type 6.

Although I ran into a problem with a fine exiting a starport where slaves where sold. Ah well, not a biggie. Although almost 200k fine.

I know I can make that up just hunting pirates in the system for a few hours.

I hear that! Nothing like a couple of hours amongst the stars to wind down at the end of the day.

I'm happy with the game.
Happy like a room without a roof........
Heah? That is a silly notion, what happens if it snows or a flock of pigeons goes over it,.... HMMM maybe Pharel isn't that good at music or lyrics.
Anywho.....This game is the best bang for the buck out there. You are going to waste over twice the cost of this game to go see PIXELS the movie and that is a criminal theft in any universe.

Those negatives can turn into great positives if they stick to the original plans that got most of us on board in the first place. Seems they are catering to a different crowd with an attention deficient disorder now. Or more communication to let us know that those features are still in the works and are planned and coming, but haven't been set aside for unknown reasons.

Positives. Great start, great Dev team. Plus Sir Braben. He should be knighted.

Negatives: You've already heard them all. The apparent stray from the path that made the originals so great has had dramatic consequences.

I am more than just 'Basically' happy, I am genuinely pleased. I have played many online games, but ED offers the best experience I have found to date. Each time FD up-dates the game it just gets better, and I have never found a game producer more responsive to their customers. Nothing is perfect, and there are some flaws, but when FD has to make decisions in game, they have made the 'right' calls.

I am more than basically happy. I am happy with it Elite: Dangerous as it is now. If the game remained like this and they didn't add anything else I'd still feel my money was well spent, the fact they are adding more constantly only makes me go "YIPPIE!"

I have to admit that my last space/trade/exploration game was X: Rebirth, so my expectations might have been radically lowered by that... thing.

Happily exploring the abyss. First time i zoomed out and realised the scale of the universe WOW. And love the online only design, I actually think it's best inclusive play style setup i've seen.
