Exobiology Table - Help on finding this "one" specific plant

o7 CMDRs,

I have spend a month within the region “The Void” to collect some exobiology data. I want to give away this spreadsheet which might be useful to some.

Exobiology Table

When does this table become in handy?
While concluding my trip within “The Void” I could precisely predict which type of organic life (and even its color most of the time) was to be found on each planet without mapping the planet itself … saving myself the time to travel to further away planets.

For that you just need to use the filters on top of the table. So for example: If you have just fss-discovered an HMC world within a M Star Class System and you know it has a Sulphur Dioxide Atmosphere the table already tells you that you will most likely only find Bacteria and Stratum on that planet.
In addition you can narrow the possibilities down by providing a reference surface temperature and/or gravity from the system map (also on top of the table). It will then highlight all the rows which suit your given temperature/gravity.

Especially if you are on the lookout for one precise plant this sheet can save you some time.

There is a twist though: There is more organic structures out there which are not listed in this spreadsheet. Furthermore stats may also vary from region to region but I doubt that. So if it is not “The Void” region you are in you will most likely encounter other type of plants which are not listed in this table. However this is start...

I enjoy making these tables and I enjoy exploring something so that I can simplify it within numbers. So maybe skip this table and make one yourself. It has been an awesome hunt these past weeks!

If you yourself have collected some (precise) data you are willing to share with me let me know. It would make me happy to make these stats more complete.

Sure, here you go. It's from this thread, and should be useful to help you fill out some more stuff. The Void (region) is quite far out there, so it's good to know that there's someone actively checking stuff there: have you been by the planetary nebula there (Flyae Proae IN-S e4-1) to check if there are any Electricae Radialem around it?

Oh, and no, so far it doesn't look like the requirements of any life would vary region by region. Only the presence of some of them does, but if they are present in the region, then they are the same as in any other region they are also in.

Thanks for the link! I can put it to some good use! Had seen that table before and wanted to look it up again anyways!

Nope have not been at that nebula yet. Wanted to explore the place without knowing anything about it.

But will sure pay it a visit when I am back.
