Expanding inhabited systems

Hi all,

Apologies if if it's been mentioned previously (I've searched but not found), but I was wondering if there was any information on whether the numbers of inhabited systems will increase over time?

I know that there are approx 19000 inhabited systems out there (according to other entries in the forum) but there are many thousands of players. If that's the case then the inhabited area of the Galaxy could be flooded with players and those really viable trade routes could become the focus of all those wanting make a credit (entirely understandable). The problem is that without the potential of additional (new) habitation, the most profitable trade routes could be caned and the desire to go out and explore could be reduced.

the inhabited systems grow slowly the edges are expanding already.

npc, s will start setteling in systems that are empty and rename these systems.
They do this based on the exploratioon dat they get from commanders if a certain number of data is delivered by commanders they will start scouting and setteling themselfs(offcourse not hundreds of lightyears away) but the edges of civilized space grow every week

That's good news! Where did you get that from (just so I know where to go when I have any more questions). Thanks.
