Experience pilots visiting starter systems

I think it's a bit unfair that us (experience pilots) are unable to visit starter systems like dromi etc etc ....
I must admit that it's a wonderful addition to new players and i am glad that FD did this because i am very interested in the future of this game and this a good way to attract new players.
But i want to have the ability to visit those systems , not because i want to gank defenseless new players but because i like exploring and trading or sightseeing. So please FD allow us to visit the starter systems while in solo only for the experienced players

There are 400 billion star systems in Elite Dangerous, once you have visited the other 399,999,999,9988, come back here and ask nicely for them to let you into the 12 you missed out on....

There's no reason why you can't visit them, regardless of your experience level. The only restriction is that you don't have any combat, trading or exploration rank. You could have 2,000 hours game time, and as long as you don't have any rank in those three areas, you are still welcome in the Pilot's Federation systems.

That's just an approximation. I'd say there's 400,682,395,724 stars.

Yes, I pressed random numbers

I wiped save just to visit them.

You're missing nothing. The missions would be dismissed as rubbish by any experienced player, and for good reason... They're meant to bring newbies in gradually.

The only reason OP wants to visit these systems is because he's been told he can't.

He'll have a fit when he finds out about the systems in the game that nobody can reach...

I see nothing wrong with going to those systems in solo play. Some might say, "Yeah, but then you can switch to Open while in them." Sure you can, but you shouldn't be able to launch, if you are in a starter system and login to Open. Or if you are in space when you logged out, you can't login to Open until you have removed your ship from the starter zone or docked it. But you still won't be able to launch while there when logged into Open.

Thank you my friend! That is exactly what i was thinking. Finally a positive thought

I had trouble just following the statement you made....can you imagine how much work it would be to actually code it?

I mean, on the one hand I do understand the OP's point....but on the other hand, there's over 4 billion star systems....no player is ever going to see them all....so who cares if there are like a dozen you can't visit? It's a purely psychological thing to "want" to go to them (simply because you can't and others can....human nature does that sometimes); control one's subconscious desires, don't let them control you, I say.

If a person cannot get over that weird psychological thing...they can clear save, as someone already pointed out, and then CAN visit them. Or they can get a second account. Certainly it isn't a reason for Frontier to have to take the time to program wierd gymnastics into the program logic, better they use that time for something that actually matters.

This is a weird turn of events. On the other hand, the power progression multiplier of the Engineers didn't exist yet when I started playing either.

I have mixed feelings about this. Kind of makes me want to get another Command and never leave the starting area. Hmm...

I reset my alt to have a look there.

Systems are, well, systems. Most have a station, a couple don't. Lots of players there in open.

As soon as you move any cargo (even mission cargo) you gain a trade rank, and docking outside the newbie bubble revokes your permit. I've not checked everywhere, but I've not seen an interdictor for sale in the bubble, ship choice is limited.

There's a combat zone mission to get you into pew-pew, mining missions for mining, trade missions for trade.

You can make money and not progress by doing nothing but courier missions, however at 20-25k a pop that's a long haul.

Most players I've seen have been in sideys, a few haulers and one cobra. So far not much interaction from them, other than a chat yesterday with someone interested in frame rates at the asteroid base station.

I'm sorry you have problems with comprehension. It would take some work to code it, yes, but it shouldn't take that much. What I said was rather straight forward. It's a rather complex idea but it was stated as simply as possible. I read it again and it just takes some attention to detail to understand it. It's definitely not rocket surgery.
