Seeing as people out there have ExploraCondas (myself included) I think itd be a great idea to have access to a new kind of SLF craft...one that, instead of having guns and chaff, would have data scanners (like the one found on SRV's).
That way we dont have to land and try to get to insanely difficult data points that are halfway up a mountain or some such. I'm not talking about scrapping the SRV side of the game....far from it, i love my lil scarab. Im just considering an alternative to it, a complimentary vehicle that would do the same job (wave scanner included) to give us more options with various missions and exploring. Naturally surface material and cargo gathering would only be accomplished with the SRV's cargo scoop but it sure would make things a lot more streamlined and easier, not to mention more fun if we had a little Ship Launched Explorer "fighter" to cruise around in.
While i think about it, for those wanting a more unified explorer multicrew experience, maybe allow multicrew players access to both SLE's and SRV's. Imagine you and your friends are on a surface hunt for a POI.....how fun it would be if you flew your Conda, one buddy zipped about in a SLE whilst your other friend darted across the landscape in a SRV.
It would make searching for things easier and a lot more entertaining.
