Exploration shortfalls, in my opinion, and ideas for improvement

A further point regarding whether or not exploration data should get back to UC without the CMDR getting home first is that if you confirm a Codex entry, the Codex is updated as 'Confirmed' instantly. So that data goes back. Hmm.

He did not, he starved to death never to be seen or heard of again, The reason we know he did discover the Isle of white is from the small scratched slate found by his petrified remains.

Explorers need to have around their neck a name tag, so in 20 Million years when they are found floating in the hard drive. They get the credit for being the first to die out there.

You're not a successful explorer if you can not get back home!
