I was thinking about mission and stuff and remembered a classic game called the great space race. Anyone else remember it?

I wonder if something like it could fit in to the elite universe?

a gawd awful overpriced disaster of a game, came out roughly the same time as the Franky goes to Hollywood game, I remember it all very clearly as I was hospital at the time having my appendix removed.

I have a visual memory of large monochrome (dark blue?) box with a spiral galaxy on it.... the bog being about 6 times bigger than the games on the shelf around it? Never played it, but I think I remember the box in the corner of the software shop, and possibly a disparaging comment about it from a young member of the staff.
