whats the best thing to do for federation ranks? im definitely not going to get it with 2 charity missions every hour being populated before the 1.5 is released. Exbeur kind of sucks now for the grind and im not seeing much in TUN.
Johann Berger;3126751 My question is: Where and especially how do Federation players increase their rank now? With the coming constraints on the missions in 1.5 we have not much time to do so...[/QUOTE said:How about, just complete missions for the Federation as you fly around as the developers intended.....?
From a station without bulletin board?I've done unranked to Sol permit in one day via HIP 8396 long range hauling missions.

It's an outpost and has one. At least it had when I was there few days back. Stepping Stone Base.
They were all nerfed. They still turn up but no where near as frequently.Has anyone had any luck with the Empire charity systems lately? I can't seem to get any charity missions at the systems mentioned in this thread. I like to do these missions in between play sessions so the refresh isn't an issue for me. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Not sure if these missions give more XP than the cheaper food missions or not.

So actually no Empire systems where is easy to get charity missions?
I think you may need to edit your costing there as Lord to Baron looks like you are saying 813 million credits I think you may mean 813K credits. Actually I see you didn't make the error it was Aeternitas in the post you were quoting.I have recently taken up the task of donation grinding to get the rank of Baron with the Empire. I was using this template as a reference as to how many mission I would be doing so that I could keep track and have an idea how close I was to my next goal. Having said that, I found that from Serf to Master to Squire much less than stated above. Also, I have only taken cash or food donation missions. There were no other missions taken other than the Naval Ascension missions.
My Missions so far:
Serf to Master
25 Missions
Master to Squire
29 Missions
**I will be posting the rest, up to Baron, as I progress.
Sorry, I only now stumbled over this. So if you want to have fast rank progression in Empire you do the following?
1. Accept any and all Charity missions for any '[System Name] Empire/Imperial Pact' faction
2. Donate money (thus accomplishing the mission)
3. Repeat
4. Get Rank progression mission
5. Accomplish 4.
6. Repeat from 1.
To clarify: You do not pick up missions with the Imperial Navy but with local Imperial patronage factions, right?
Thanks in advance!
