fastest 5 billion challenge

some carrier owners are using illegally third paty sit to recieve real cash they then transfer discounted cargo to u that u sell for profit.

I made that request as well lol

I hope some speed runs start up though, would be good to see how
I made a speed run video using pirate massacre missions. I made a couple of trial runs, which worked pretty well, so I dthen started the recorded version. On the first run I stalled, when I couldn't find the equipment for the Vulture, presumably because I'd taken it all on the trial runs. On the second run, I couldn't make the mission targets spawn for the Sidewinder. Finally, the third run was better, but I still wasted about an hour outfitting the Vulture. I went all the way to 600 mil, which took about 10 hrs. In total, itwas about 30 hrs work to get that far, then I had to waste another 10 to 20 hrs editing it down into a one hour video, but I was fed up with it by then, so I gave up.

I made two previous ones with mining (when Painite was the meta) and passenger missions at Robigo, but both of them required a lot of work. the passenger one only went as far as the T6, and it took about 4.5 hrs to get 145 mil and a consistent 60 mil/hr after that - two days work for that vid.

One Robby run in a purpose built Python can get about 20mil average (normally there's at least two 5mil jobs) so it depends on how fast you can do it.
You aint scooping and if the cabin crew don't take breaks its possible i suppose.

You can't extrapolate like that. You have to work out how much you get after many hours, then divide by the number of hours, then you find that it's a lot less than you expect. As I said, 100 mil per hour is a more realistic figure in the long-term.

I like 'extrapolate' i need to use that more often in conversation ©General Sir Anthony Cecil Hogmanay Melchett, VC, KCB, DSO
True though as i average 5 runs an hour at dordle pace i get around that.
My notes are sketchy from that period but i think i did the 5billion grind in about 2 weeks.

How do you get that much? Robigo can get yout that on a good day, but it's not consistent.
I get between 19mm and 27mm with 7 cabins from Robigo Mines to Sirius Atmospherics. It takes around 12 minutes per run, round trip. So, the hourly rate is anywhere from 100mm to over 125mm per hour.

The swing largely depends on how many 5mm+ missions you can get in each cabin. Sometimes you see multiple 5.5mm missions in one run. Other times, they top out at 4mm or 3.8mm. So there is some random chance involved.

I just spot-checked my INARA account, and the snapshot below reflects my credit gains doing Robigo missions recently. So, while it's not a perfect match, it is 3.2 billion over five different sessions, and I wasn't doing close to 8 hours per day.

Any good places to stack massacre missions? I cant find any stations where multiple factions hate the same baddies

Ngalinn has 6 factions all hating the Brothers of Mainani in the next system.

When I arrived there early in 2021 I had 1.2 billion in the bank. 3 days later I had my carrier. (playing solo).

Now that I know more I could do it faster than I did back then but I'm really not looking to spend 3 days grinding combat. I have 4 accounts and three have carriers, so I've done my hard work already.

I still have all the data in EDDiscovery. Looks like I did 135 massacre missions, some before I got the carrier and a lot right after to pay for services I wanted. (I bought it with 5.2 b in the bank and parked it in Mainani, which back then was empty of carriers.)

Yes, I know that. I've done Robigo for many hundeds of hours. Everybody can make loads of credits there. The more time you do it, the more you get. Showing figures of how much you get in a day doesn't mean anything. The only thing I don't agree with is that you can "average" 125 mil per hr in the long-term.

How about you post your logfiles of all sessions of 28th March, so that we can analyse the hourly rate you achieved on possibly a good day?

Ngalinn has a low RES in the target system, so you can use a burst laser Vulture, which increases the earnings rate a lot. Look out for occasional wings of mission spawned NPCs dropping into the RES in the middle of a session. They're normally much high rank and typically Anacondas and FDLs, sometimes in a wing of three. I think you can just ignore them. I haven't seen them attack yet, but I normally just kill them anyway, though the battles can last a while.

Solati is a good example. Large number of individual factions within 10ly and a ring system. All the nearby systems also have stations fairly close to the arrival star.

For Imperial, my favourite is HIP 28150. Pretty much the same except a large number of Empire factions.

Plus, both systems have nearby pristine metallic rings systems (Delkar/Jura) for mining if you fancy.

you can do it, by selected a high end mission for wing teams, it isn't new...just abit boring when you have nothing to do but transport blah blah commoditys for blah blah credits. and it taken you this long to tell us......HAHA

I see a lot of metrics posted, but I am hoping we get some speed run videos like other games have.

With a timer, and some recognition of achievement for them.

Sorry mate wrong game for that, most players here arnt out for glory or recognition.

Ok. So whilst this is good mining efficiency, platinum is still only 280k per tonne max so even this max load is only £150m. Yes the video is only 30 minutes but you still have to spend time getting that load to market. No fleet carrier to bulk trade to in a speed run. And no cutter for the build either! An anaconda could probably do the job similarly though.

And then at that rate we're starting to look at similar to Robigo, or any other good earning method.
