I really dunno what all the fuss is about.
Getting the Sirius permit takes a couple of hours, if you don't just rock-up at an appropriate station with a heap of exploration data and get it it immediately.
Getting access to Qwent is probably the simplest task in the game and takes about an hour.
Getting access to Palin wasn't much harder. An hour of hanging around in the appropriate system and the task is done.
And, if people are moaning because of the travel requirement for Palin, the game really IS too easy and people are progressing too quickly.
Beyond that, I suspect that some people just think they've discovered an easy way to break the game so they're trying to implement it.
If they succeed, FDev will just fix it.

Even if Sirius is driven back so the faction only exists in the Sirius system, it can expand out again. I am certain if the faction is driven all the way back the community will come together to expand it out again, if only because of the Engineers permit requirements.
This appears to be one of the better player driven initiatives, and rather than complaining you'd be better served by drumming up support for a counter action.

Yeah A combined effort will overcome any small self important group playing the bgs even my lazy azz drove out and dropped 1 mil in bounties off at Sirius. The last attempt at UA bombing that last trade CG failed miserably.

I think he is saying there are nine modes.
3 for PC
3 for XBox
3 for PS4
And one BGS to bind them all.

ps4 only has 2 modes? no group or no solo?
eh and is stuff that happens on pc gonna effect xbox/ps4?
All platforms and all modes affect the bgs equally.

Ah. That's rather silly. Also not very inclusive as far as Mac players are concerned. All seven of them.
I get 7, as what is different about Solo among the different platforms?

I'd rather not. I put a fair amount of effort into getting my Sirius permit. Seems only fair that others should do the same.
Sure I can go for the 7 modes being a more accurate count.
My apologies to all seven of them. To me though a Mac is just an over-priced PC without Horizons.
Some of my permits have taken a fair bit of effort, but Sirius didn't.
I put no effort into the Sirius permit whatsoever. I found that I had become allied with Sirius Corp after CGs in Robigo and HIP 8396.
The funny thing is Robigo became famous for smuggling missions, so lots of CMDRs ended up hostile with Sirius Corp while earning megacreds.

For all I know Mac users can be instanced with PC users.
Why not actively get other CMDR's to help you change the state. Sorry to tell you but Elite won't hold you'r hand or bend to your will just form a forum post. You need to get active and rally others to you're cause which shouldn't be to hard if there are so many people looking for the same thing as you but please never ask for the game state to be changed just because you wan't something the easy way... Games like that are ten a penny, Elite is better as you either live with it or do something about it yourself and it certainly was not Frontiers fault at all.
This is a sandbox, time to get digging.

Stop asking for the Devs to step in if its all player controlled. These things are rarely a permanent condition. Some will come back and fight back, it's the nature of the game. Heck I might even come along and show some Cobra MK IV beastliness while I'm about it
