FDev's Arthur: "We think Thursday's stream will be really good, looking forward to it" RETURN OF GALNET?

Is the original English version not rude enough? From here, I really wonder how 'twitter' ever became such a popular platform...
But 'twit' isn't censored by this forum. Strange.
Yeah it just means fool I guess, it's an old word that even my grandmother used to use! Not to be confused with the alternative spelling - the letter I replaced with an a is probably the one you have in mind, which I imagine falls foul of the censor lol!

Constructive criticism is always great. Unlike, say, demands including threats innuendo ;).

Either way in this case, and if Galnet was actually to return, I suspect it could have very well been a case of FDEV's plan all along and mostly keeping the course.

They should communicate more. I know why they don't, but this is not a community which works well with a wall of silence. Even a simple "Don't worry guys, we're working on something to replace GalNet, and we think you'll like it!" would go a long way.

I hear you! FDEV I think has a very solid track record (couple exceptions) of not saying much until they think it is ready tho. For good or ill.

Which might work well enough when you're an indie project operating out of the garden shed in your free time, but not at this level. I think the problem with software developers is that they simply don't understand how human beings think, and when said human beings are your customers, that's not good. We have community managers I presume, or at least a community manager, why are they not given more to do?

Having started playing computing engine games in the 1970's - so being used to the introduction of entertainment software being announced just prior to release, said software arrivng, initially, on a cassette tape and support for the inevitable bugs was non-existent... It bothers me not in the least if a developer 'communicates' with me - provided the software arrives when indicated, and as a benefit of 'modern times' bug fixing patches are released, I'm happy.

Well only Frontier will know that. Unless they have been willing to talk with people about it...

Wikipedia is a mine of information LOL ....

Nose goes or the nose game, also uncommonly called the "rule of nose goes", is a popular selection method most commonly used when deciding which of several persons is assigned an unwanted task. Whoever touches their nose last must do the task.

Lmao! When was base building a feature? I obviously missed that entire expansion, along with all the forum threads about it still being removed from the game then.... Get a grip mate :ROFLMAO: 🤪
Ah yes, because when they say "Not on the roadmap", that implies that it was a feature already in Elite's past, and they just removed it.

LOGIC 🤪

May they are bringing Galnet back or perhaps they are announcing what they plan to do with Galnet Odyssey. Looking forward to seeing what they announce.

The CMs having Galnet symbols on the cool aid mugs has sent us fools into a tizzy. Its going to be brutal if its not Galnet or stories coming back.
I wouldn't have known it was a Galnet symbol without looking it up. Isn't it also a Thargoid ship?

If Galnet is to come back, I'm assuming it's because some of the writers have finished what they needed to do in Odyssey and are now back to the usual bread and butter stuff like Galnet and maybe even CGs and IIs. We shall see.
