if people like it, i'm already satisfied, if they also use in their game experience i'm delighted ;). The goal is first to be able to see all factions in one glance, being usefull ingame is kind of a secondary goal.

I know i would use it myslef, or at least give it a few glances, so as to plot a course or something like that, find the nearest inhabited world if i'm going beyond the frontier or the nearest federal/imperial outpost to look for ships or missions etc...

It arrived a bit late though but hopefully, there's still time to play those "oldies" ;)
ED wont be there before a few very long months... and even then, i'm sure some people will go back to the "old ways" sometimes just for fun or out of nostalgia.

I just checked my files, I figured out a way of counting the systems easilly...

this is exactly 5768 systems, if i havent missed anything.

oh wait. I thought I downloaded an elite manual...shows how desperate I am, my eyes don't work. But you noticed how happy I was...LOL

Just started a nostaglia trip with FE2 (between sessions with ED), i have not played it since the Amiga days some 20 years ago...
Needless to say its still as fun today! But these maps make it so much more enjoyable.

Hi there!

Is there a Starmap from E2:Frontier from the Original Boxed Amiga Version? Mine is "crippled" and I tried to stitch it together with no luck.
My goal would be to get it on A1 paper from a printer/plotter but for that I needa very high dpi and that'S what I did with my original. I scanned everything in 1200DPI.

WOuld there be a person so kind and could create this starmap or even the fine people at Frontier them selfs should have this map somewhere in their archives. It should be very high in DPI for this project.

Just spotted this. Congratulations on the starmaps nicomak, they are amazing and must have taken a long time to make. I can see one of these decorating an entire wall in my house some time soon
