Feature Focus: Ranger Functions

Good morning guys. I really like this thread. Valid and sound points all around. I'm sure the dev team are reading this. My thoughts on this.

1. Outside of the dlc campaign there should be balance, in one way or another. Esp when merging buildings or features from past dlc's. Since claire and dr. wu were separate but in sanbox and challenge we could use features from both together. The greenhouse is a good feature. As well as dr. wu gene upgrades.

2. Tranqed dinos should wake up after some time. I mean if you're sedated you do wake up eventually. Albeit longer. There should be a cooldown or timer or something. If rangers can't use revive darts, i really wouldn't mind.

3. Tour or safari trucks should also be applicable to vehicle destruction. It would be weird if it's not applicable apart from the rangers. Adds some depth in planning tours / paddock designs.

4. On that note, even if rangers don't visually run from dinosaurs. Their deaths should be reflected also on the legal stuff in the finance tab. Aside from the penalty and cost in buying a new ranger team.

Overall Dec. 10 is almost upon us. Woooooh. Let's go guys. 🎉😁😊

I just thought of something. I wonder if tornados will be able to damage the vehicles too?

1. I don't care about JW merging with JP, but I think it could happen in the future.

2. YES, just a tiny tweak that needs to come in a future update, I'll keep asking for a cooldown effect AND a revive dart.

3. I was able to read the tour attraction description on a video and it says the explorer (also confirmed) will be destroyed by carnivorous dinosaurs so be careful. I just hope it applies to JW gyrospheres and Tour Truck.

4. Just as visitors or staffs, the death penalty in this game is almost inexistant. Thing is we miss the hability for the ranger jeep and helicopter to rescue lost visitors, so it's not really fair in this current state to add penalty.

3. Oh nice to know that safari vehicles are also destructible. Hoping it also applies to the JW vehicles (but i think it will hehe). Added depth in management it seems is welcome.

4. Makes sense guests can't be rescued. Otherwise this'll be like an action game. Lol. Maybe a system like if the deaths pile up it's game over and your park will be closed. Idk. Seems realistic.
 
Just saw Frontier live stream, they spend 10min in a enclosure full of raptors with the ranger jeep, they were not attacking....?
 
In the livesteam the devs enter in the Raptors paddock to get attacked and shown it to the players.... But ... Steggs try and try and try.... And anybody Raptors attack them ! They were so confused that they step to the mission 6 ! There is no danger LOL 😂 ABSOLUTELY FUN

Yes but they are the devs and they were Not sure.... I think they lie because they tryied and the girl tell him to shoot it to provocate the attack ... I think it just don't happen

Yes i know it's here ! I didn't Not Say it's Not here i just said that it won't happen so often just sometime... Because in the fact you Can stay with 4 Raptors 10 minutes and they don't attack
