Hello Commanders! Tell us, who are you?
Ghost Giraffe is our group name and individually we are Spawrks and Mars Yurip. That’s right. Right?
That sounds about right! How and when did you first find out about Elite Dangerous?
We initially found out about the game from a friend in 2016, who forced us to play because he had no friends in-game!
What got you both hooked on the game?
Discovering that it’s actually a Western set in space and in the future. Yeehaw!!... It’s not a western? Then why the hell is every planet set in New Mexico?!

Just over 3 years!
And what's your favourite piece of content you've made?
Explaining crazy stellar forge anomalies with real science and astronomy in our video “Moons are Colliding" is probably our favourite. We’ve also had loads of fun making Laser Cops and the Space Tourism comedy series. Oh, and our Top Tips Best-Worst Tutorials. So... I guess everything we’ve done has been our favorite!
If you could give one piece of advice to every Commander, what would it be?
It’s not about how many "space bucks" you make, it’s about how much fun you have spending it! Unless you have no space bucks... then it’s definitely about how much you make.
Good advice! Are there any other content creators you’d like to give a shout out to?
Turjan Starstone. If you never pick us, please pick Turjan again and again. Definitely the best.

We're looking to create videos that explain scientific and astronomical discoveries in-game using real-life sources like NASA, but with a comedic element because this is the internet, not PBS!
