RP - The Federation has lost control of Ross 128, the only high security facility available to safety incarcerate the dregs and scoundrels of the galaxy. The loss of the system has resulted in 2 outcomes, the release of prisoners now posing a threat to our peaceful society and the insidious spread of Alliance influence within the Federation including, it is rumoured, the use of slaves and "live" experimentation.

We know the Alliance favours and actively supports Alien invaders throughout the galaxy and at a higher level we can see how this wedge of Alliance infiltration (and its proximity to the Pilots Federation) could be part of the preparations of the threatened Thargoid Armageddon that the Alliance no doubt wish to inflict upon our society.

As a first step towards the liberation of Ross 128 and other nearby systems the Federation is asking for volunteers to help turn the tide and protect our society, our families, friends and loved ones from this dual threat.

I'm packing up and departing Harma tonight for my trip to Ross 128, and I was planning to head there anyhow to see what the commotion is about. My home station is Galileo in the Sol system, so it will be easy to shuttle my Corvette over to support combat operations and trader support.

I agree that Hudson let them pull off a cheek move in a system right under his nose, but without support from Federation Commanders, other systems could be next. I sense they could try to hem in Sol or, even, make some type of move there...since no good Federation Commander can allow that, we must act.

Oh, something interesting for a change. I can devote some time starting next week.

First of all, a plan. I suggest pushing Social Ross 128 Coalition, as it does have a base and therefore can benefit from exploration data. It is in civil unrest right now, so it needs to end first to fully benefit from actions.

You should declare war and show those space hippies where there true place in this galaxy is! You just need to start it and I guarantee you the Empire of Achenar will join. Together we can finally get rid of them once and for all!

So you managed to get Ross 128 from the Feds? Good job! Now, right on CMDRs! It is time to show this corrupt mega-corporation calling itself "Federation" where its true place in this galaxy is! You just need to start a war and I guarantee you the Empire of Achenar will join you. We hate all Feds anyways and this would be the prefect opportunity to get rid of them once and for all!

To Empire aligned CMDRs only:
Let's wait and see how this situation develops. They surely will have some sort of conflict very soon. We just have to wait until they crushed their militaries in endless battles of attrition. While we start building up our military even further, without losses we will outgun both of them after some time. Then after several years of constant war between the Federation and the Alliance with a frontline moving back and force without significant territorial gains for any of them the Federation most likely would start to gain the upper hand. At this point we jump in and sweep their remaining forces away with a surprise-attack. They wouldn't stand a chance against our overwhelming forces...

To Independent CMDRs only:
Are you seriously seeking for advice here? Just sell weapons, armor, construction materials to both sides. Hope for a war and keep it going as long as possible, just imagine those profits...

It appears the other factions have little influence in the system, with the Alliance faction having at least 80%. If I am correct, the way to weaken a controlling faction's influence is to kill their Authority Vessels, and keep killing them until they capitulate. Is this correct?

@Fulsom - you need Ensign or higher.

It took a large and dedicated group the best part of a year to achieve this. Good luck guys! :) lol. I might come and watch just for giggles. :)
