Figured out the FSS, how do I map?

I found some unmapped planets, but.. how do I fire off the probes to get my name on "first mapped by"?

Bind DSS to fire group.
Fly to planet with DSS fire group active and in HUD analysis mode.
When it says you are close enough and not too fast, fire DSS.
This enters mapping mode.
Aim and shoot probes.

As above, also note that you can "aim" probes round the back of Uranus (or wherever you want to map) by using the gravity of the object to curve your trajectory. The curvature depends on the objects mass, of course.
