Finding Compromised Nav Beacons - CNB

Lacaille 9352 no longer compromised 8/06/2018

Cheers, already had it as a No on my spreadsheet but I've updated the timestamp for reference. Looks like Grey has updated the OP.

@Mr Grey, did you want another dump of the known active ones from the spreadsheet again? Or a dump of both active and inactive/no longer active? Might be worth keeping them as separate lists in the OP.

A new dump would be ok. I'd say we'll keep one list and update it since CapitanAceR uses it for his site.

I could generate a dedicated one for him on demand probably in a format better for import into a DB. I'm a programmer, and the spreadsheet is already being seeded with code I wrote in the first place, so extracting it into a CSV file or something is easy.

I was gonna suggest using a HTML table format to list the table because when you copy and paste it in windows it converts directly to a tab separated format (well it does in Opera and Firefox), which is very easy to handle. For example:

OK, thanks for maintaining the list, I was just suggesting changing it to a HTML table, there is a table function built into this WIKI editor on the "Go Advanced" editing options. But I am grateful for whatever you do.

If you have anything you would like to see on the web pages or any ideas, I am open for ideas, contributions, whatever. For me it is just a way of learning web-technologies by doing rather than just reading about it.

Ok, here's a trial run. Let me know if you like the format and I'll run the entire list:

Anarchy systems get this treatment:

Chuang Kong (Anarchy)Bok Vision : 1062ls : L : Orbital : Shipyard : Outfitting2018-04-14

I can break Anarchy systems out into their own table if that's preferred.

Looking good. Add a "START" with a date and "END" tag as in the OP.
If it's "approved" I can rework the list make you make a new thread. ;)

What's the purpose of those tags?

Something like this?

(The date format doesn't strictly have to be in this form btw).

What start and end tags? ;)

Sorry, it took me a while to get back to you. Thanks for going to so much trouble for me.
The *START and *END make it easier to search the page for the content of interest, they can be anything unique really but place one (*START*) before all the table(s) and one right at the end (*END*) after all the table(s)
I do not really need the Anarchy column I keep this info in an internal table that I regularily update but if you wish to add it (as a separate column would be best), no problem.
Could you put the station info in brackets after the station name? for example Herndon Base (5669 ls, L, Planetary, Outfitting). And could you put it in a separate column "RRR Stations" (assuming they all at least have RRR facilities) ?
The reason is that I do already have a separate database that holds this information, I am just trying to find a workable update strategy before I start using it.
So in summary something like this :

*START*
Active Compromised Nav Beacons
SystemDate Last VerifiedRRR StationsNotes
110 Herculis 2018-01-25Kinsey Arena (1017 ls, L, Planetary, Outfitting)
14 Herculis2018-01-24Example notes go here. Anything that stands out. Requires a permit. White Dwarf entry star so be careful, ...

Inactive Compromised Nav Beacons

SystemDate Last VerifiedRRR StationsNotes
Some System 2018-05-25

*END*

On the other hand if you want to keep it in the original format (with an extra column for stations and an * at the start of a line to indicate a inactive CNB), no problem
