Thanks, yeh I thought that, but even have issues when I can read the numbers. 0 2 etc.

I'll work it out, only waited about 15 years for this game, can spend a little time on this.

Cargo respawn, CMDR Bounty, and disappearing fines. Bug confirmation thread. [POLL]

EDIT: Apparently a fix has been posted 8 minutes ago while I was making the thread, check to make sure you are no longer having these issues.
POST IF YOU BELIEVE WHICH BUGS HAVE BEEN FIXED.

1. Cargo is respawning with your ship after destruction

2. You can not collect any CMDR bounty.

3. All fines and wanted status are disappearing after log out.

Use the poll to confirm these bugs and make a support ticket.

Think 2 of these have just been fixed here

- Fix the bug that stopped the servers permanently recording fines and bounties (with all the various consequences of that)
- Fix the bug that caused Commanders' cargo holds to not be emptied when rebuying their ships through insurance

Fine expires... no bounty?

Okay, so I work towards high bounty in one system. Before logging out last time, I had 40k bounty and 30k fine. Logged out, and now I came back online few days after. 40k bounty is up, no fines.
Something broken? Not the first time it happens, but before I thought it's something wrong with my head lol.

Your unpaid fine is dormant. It will be added to your bounty if you get scanned by an authority vessel from the system or major faction your fine was linked to.

That didn't work, I just let Authority interdict me and scan me. Just got 7k fine for illegal cargo and then 7k bounty for killing them. Old fine didn't come back.

Occasionally something similar happens to me. I have docking clearance and I have the right pad, landing gear deployed, facing the right direction etc but the docking view on the scanner doesn't display and I can't dock. Usually I just have to cancel my docking request and request it again, then it works.

I noticed this happens if you are assigned a pad too soon after the previous ship leaves. When the pad drops and rotates to reset itself while assigned it breaks the docking.

I am having major issues landing?

Getting in to space ports is easy, years of ZX81 practice fixes that. However, putting the ship down on the spot is an issue. i am in the blue, on the deck, yet the 'system' says not? Any ideas? So far have crashed 3 ships and received fines. For what? being a rookie? Especially considering the cost of the fines? 400 crs out of a start up of 1,000, too high and too stupid. Crashing the ship fair enough, but fining rookies for learning to to land, not on folks.

Right now I have a ship, on the deck at a space port, but the system says it is not landed, .

awaiting another fine?

Arry

I run into this problem from time to time; usually I just exit station, cancel dock and re-request and it works.

The Python is fine, taker away SCB from ED

Just tested a A graded Python in war zones whiteout SCB, 1v1 the Python is very good but when more than 1 ship attacks the Python, the shield goes down very fast and that was fighting only Npcs. Whats the point in this nerf the Python discussion, i really dont understand. there is only one advantage in ED and that are Shild Cell Banks. Take away them and you get the balance.

Trader with teeth

Well I have tested the new Python at level C - D with Turrets. Picked a fight with some NCPs and all was well. It gave a good account of itself destroyed 2 and made a safe escape.

However, it is not a Fighter - who heard of a Fighter with 200+ cargo space. It is now an excellent Armed Trader for trading Rares in a hostile environment. It can shrug off interdicts, which help break the boredom of long journeys. A good fuel scoop is needed and with the new excellent Galaxy map routing, trading Rares is now breeze. Carry an Intermediate scanner for extra income:). Greater Jump range would be welcome as would a slight increase in top speed.

I will keep a Viper for dog fighting and look forward to the new Heavy Fighter which the Python had become but should never have been.

Fly Safe

At the moment, 3 players in Vipers working together can take out a pre-nerf player Python. However, without teamwork, the Python could pick them off one by one. This is the way it should be, and suggests that the Python is not massively overpowered.

However, I will balance this by saying that the Python feels too agile. I've been testing one with mixed A and D modules. Dogfighting with Vipers when you're several times heavier with several times the firepower feels a bit wrong.

FD have over-nerfed the Python for 1.1 and hopefully they will review and rebalance.
