Ok, it takes 15mins for the carrier to jump, I’ve started that process. I’ll give you a shout with 5 mins to go. You then check your nav panel and look for a carrier called ‘The Spirit of the Age’, select that. Aim for the location, drop out of supercruise and wait. You’ll see the carrier arrive, quite a sight if you have never seen it before.
when you can, request docking and climb aboard. You don’t have to do anything after that. The Carrier will countdown for the next jump it will automatically put you in the hanger and we jump.
If it’s ok with you, we’ll head to a system called Mabe, I have some business next door

Slight miscalculation on my part, it will in fact take 2 jumps. Have no fear.
It is pretty amazing. 2 different platforms, both in solo.
First jump in 5mins, 2 mins cooldown, then we jump again.
Do you have to press buttons or do any stuff that's different to what I do in my cobra ?
To jump the carrier? Not really. Open the galaxy map, via a carrier management portal, set the destination, tell it to jump, it does everything else for you after that.
