No worries. After posting it occurred to me that that might be what you were thinking. I hadn't even connected that it was about to be Thursday.
I'll be taking part in the first one. Another Interstellar Initiative I'd like to see is training the engineers to upgrade Guardian modules. A grade 5 low emissions Guardian power plant would be nice.

There's still a chance that it'll still be Thursday. Maybe Monday is the reveal and we start voting on where the big ship should go, vote ending after three days and Thursday is kick off. Just a thought.

That quip aside, I'm interested in seeing just what 'we' will have to vote on, hoping it is something a little more than re-visiting those same old Guardian sites over again -although I'd likely still enjoy it

Asking us to vote on where the megaship goes? Well, that can go two ways:
1. FDev provides us with a limited selection of sensible endpoints, from somewhere in the Bubble to somewhere in Guardian space.
2. "Boaty McBoatface" scenario: anyone can pitch in with an idea followed by a free-for-all vote, and we end up with a ferry connecting the Crab Nebula with Beagle Point, despite a total lack of Guardian stuff near either end.
Though as mentioned above, there's at least one other Guardian region in the Skaudai sector near Sacagawea Station, midway between the Bubble and Colonia. How will that tie in, if at all? A second ferry to/from Colonia at some point?
